Rudd has produced some very good double saves and for me is on the up. Ruddy seems to have lost his edge, which is crucial for a keeper.
Rudd has fully deserved his place in the team and has done great since being there. There will always be a few nerves in the first few games but since then he hasn't looked at all out of place. Can't see Ruddy getting back in the team now, whether all these rumours are true or not.
If I was JR I would be worried bcause Rudd has taken his chance brilliantly. He has been patient and plied his trade gaining experience with various loan moves in the lower leagues and has done this without complaint (I think). At long last he has been given the opportunity to stake his claim and has hardly put a foot wrong. Indeed we could have been walloped at Tottenham and also lost a late equaliser at OT but for his ability. Top lad and it has also saved us a potentially big transfer fee. Give the lad a bonus!
