I am concerned that Bruce cannot give a reason for these abysmal performances. That was only Prestons 3rd win at home and they could have scored 6 in the first half.

Boro, Derby and Brighton would not be losing away at Leeds, Rotherham and Preston.
Middlesbrough have lost to Cardiff, Reading and Bristol City.

Derby have lost to Nottingham Forest and Leeds.

Having a greasy spoon sarnie before leaving the delights of Preston; says it all really, it's the highlight of the afternoon!

To say we were poor would be an understatement; Brucey left his 'Big Bang' start on the bus yet again! We've seen some awful away performances of late, but today was the worst of the lot. Preston should have been out of sight by half time. Much more of this and it will be play off's at best. In fact based on today you would think we were at the bottom and Preston were chasing promotion. We made them look like world beaters, particularly in the first half.

Does Akpom know the offside rule, how the hell did he get to start after recent performances? Can we start with the strongest team next time Brucey please? If players get tired then introduce fresh legs hopefully when we are not chasing the game because we've started strongly with the best eleven (whatever that is).

I need a strong drink when I get home after that crap!

Any posAtives ?

Bruce OUT

I think we have to revert to 3-5-2 away so we have an extra centre half.

Good idea if we had 3 fit centre halves. On another point can anyone tell me why Clucas was playing up front? Okay, he scored against a tiring Burnley on Saturday and I get the idea SB wanted Abel to rest - and Aluko is crap - but why not give Luer a start?

Can't fault Clucas getting a go up top, he looked ace there for 10 minutes two days ago. Was worth a shot, he's played there a lot in the past too.

No qualms about positive experimenting, but the dreadful displays and losing is inexcusable.
