There is a top four quality team with a good defensive record , free scoring with lots o young talent
I'd say the sigh of relief from Willie when Kings Palace wasn't entered up in the Lexus was even audible at Pond House If SDC beats Don Poli tomorrow I'll be (hypothetically) ripping up my antepost tickets on that one (too).
Sir De Champs shortening up across the boards all evening from 5/1 into as short as 7/2 in places now. I've not the strongest opinion on the race, really disappointed it didn't stay together as it looked a potential race of the season 6-8 weeks ago, such is racing though. Don Poli will want to be winning this if he has serious claims for the GC but SDC is battle hardened and might not be the push over people expect. It remains to be seen though if he is as good as he once was.
In fairness Spurs look a decent side this season but you are highly dependable on Kane and if he gets injured your goosed.Spurs look solid at the back and have a decent midfield so I can see you nabbing 3rd/4th.Regarding the Chelski/Utd game I can see that one ending a boring scoreless draw.Anyway back to the horsies
Must be the each way thieves in play?! Or else he's been guesswised? Either way looking at the opposition it looks a pretty certain 1-2 for Gigginstown. Mind you Un de Sceaux looked 'pretty certain' to win today didn't he!
I'd say you wouldn't go wrong but I'd just stick it on Don Poli for the big un instead Poor race for a Lexus, pity Djakadam wasn't in it! Would a left Don Poli a backable price too...
Not for the first time this season I am on CLOUDY BOB 7/1 Leicester 2.00 He usually finds a way to get himself beaten but off his current mark he is too well in to ignore. Doubling him up also ten minutes later with SWING HARD @ 15/2
In a German Beery haze I just noticed Paddy Powers offer there: If you finish second to SP fav you get a free bet tomo on Ltown races. In that case I'll have a slice of SDC at 4s.The DP/SDC looks the logical bet as i mentioned but with the way Spoofer is riding I wouldn't be 100% confident on DP!!I cant see any of the other runners making the frame so we should be in the money or at worse have a free bet? Will avail of same offer on MT.
2 interesting runners tomorrow - WILLIAM OF ORANGE makes his hurdle debut form Donald Mcain tomorrow - decent horse over the flat and be interesting to see him over hurdles - good to see a flat recruit to the jumps and one not to have worn the blues of Goldophin Also one of greater interest and one I have a punt on just for this reason David Wachman and Gigginstown send PERFECT FIT over to a weak looking maiden, that is surely a tip in itself @ 3/1 looks a decent price
Anyway have been watching and will continue to, to watch the racing on tv as have been redecorating my house - why did I tell my wife I would do it so bloody wish I got some one to come in and do it
The split maiden hurdle at Catterick is incredible, you have a listed flat winner and three interesting horses in opposition in the first division and the second division looks so weak in comparison. How unlucky were connections of Tippmanboy to get put in the first division!
Really pushing my luck after an amazing couple of days but I've backed this lot in small trebles, fourfolds and an acca... ROAD TO RESPECT 7/4 VALYSSA MONTERG 10/1 TELL US MORE 2/1 ALPHA DES OBEAUX 2/1 SIR DES CHAMPS 4/1 Long may the good luck continue!!
ZAZAMIX 40/1 Catterick 1.00 Won a similar class 5 at Sedgefield twelve months ago off 75 and races here off 72. Hasn't exactly raced with too much enthusiasm of late but off this mark and at such huge odds is well worth a few shillings each way!
