    What's his background other than writing about football?

    What's the actual problem?

    He's a fan, which is a good start.

    He has a massive background in finance, and so from a running a business point of view has some great knowledge. Forget his political career.

    Stop moaning, some people would be unhappy whoever came in.

    OK, I'm not a big fan of Ed Balls or politics, but apparently he has a brilliant knowledge of all things financial and so his appointment could actually turn out to be a very astute piece of business by NCFC. Watch this space!!!! <ok>

    Hi bors, this not a political appointment. Those who have been critical of his appointment should at least give him the benefit of waiting to see how he makes out. One thing for certain, like us he is a Norwich supporter and I personally welcome him as an active member of the club and reserve the right to criticise when I find how he contributes to the wellbeing of the club.
