Following the University Challene Christmas season with the famous ex-graduates and some of them are just embarrasing. The weatherman John Hammond was unaware it was Teesside and thought it was Teeside. Side of the River Tees Mr Hammond, go to the bottom of the class! And join there Ms Gosling (BBC News Anchor) who thought Ed Balls's old constituency was in the far North of Scotland! Oh dear!!

On a serious note it is worrying! Please see the references in Private Eye each issue and it gets worse.

Gutted. First episode of Luther was fantastic. Second episode, so disappointing. I expected a cliffhanger. But it was so tame! Feel really let down.

I guess they couldn't leave it on a cliffhanger when they don't know if they'll make another season. I liked the first episode better, but I still found this one to be disturbing enjoyable.

I'm glad someone else said that, I watched it tonight, first episode is ever seen and I have to say I was wondering what all the fuss was about, seemed nothing special at all.
By the sounds of it that wasn't par for the course, I'll have to check out some of the earlier series as my missus loves it.

Just wasn't all that exciting, not a lot of clever writing. To have a break that long, then come back with a killer like that. Just wasn't all that thrilling or different or exciting. I didn't like the new woman character who I suppose will replace Alice. She wasn't as twisted or edgy as Alice was.

I still enjoyed watching both, as I adore Luther as a character. Just love watching him.

I thought the killer was creepy and disturbing, the second part probably wasn't as good as the first but I still found it entertaining. I agree with Alice though, shame she wasn't in this, but guess she's busy with The Affair.

With Idris Elba being an Hollywood actor, I wouldn't expect many more of this show, I guess that's why there wasn't really a cliffhanger or a continuation of the arc story as they don't know if or when they will make a new series.

Idris wants to do more. He said. He thinks there much further the character can go. He also wants to do a film at some point, in a City like New York.

Been watching 'Making A Murderer' a 10 part documentary on Netflix about this guy framed for rape by the justice department and serving 18 years in prison, then got released where he sued for wrongful imprisonment but then got framed for murder.

Pretty interesting and shocking what the sheriff and judge did.

I heard about the film, but I guess it depends on his other project and finding the time. Could be another 3 or so years before we get another series or film, and that's too long for a cliffhanger or build a new story arc.
