Its coming together slowly. Really hope Cellino splashes a bit of cash & we put in better performances than we did against Preston. Keep the faith guys. In Evans I trust. MOT!!!

Morning ristac, there are some players, however good, will never get a look in as they rub their Manager up the wrong way.Morning all... Honestly not picking up on this because I am anti Evans, but the sort of thing that grates on me about him... He just says the right things whether he means them or not... When he joined, he couldn't wait to get Erwin back from loan, here is what he said when interviewed amongst many things...
“I have to say, I think he’s been treated a bit unfairly. “He’s gone to Bury on loan, a good club, but he will have thought, ‘I’ve joined Leeds United and now I’m playing for Bury’.
So it just shows Erwin has some kind of fitness problem and he was sent to Bury for a good reason.
In regards to Botaka, he was an unused substitute, no wonder he never unlocked any doors!!!!!

I think he has him confused with Byram, seriously, how will Botaka feel reading or hearing those comments.
Morning Eire, really well put...Morning all. Two days of work left and then some decent chill out family time. Worst xmas present ever, having to suffer three in laws I never particularly liked. Thankfully, as Ive matured, I make sure I only invite people around I actually want to spend time withAs for Evans, first manager in a long long time whose comments I actually want to listen to. Theres an air of honesty about the guy and can be no doubt, many of the squad are performing better since his arrival. Also seems to have got the Italian and English halves of the club playing together. Something Redfern was hopeless at
Good Morning Everyone,
Steve Evans has told the YEP that Cellino is ready to back him financially to bring in enough quality players for a play off push!!!
Thoughts?
Evans has also been speaking to BBC Radio Leeds as to why Lee Erwin or Jordan Botaka were not named in Leeds squad to face Preston.
Reason is, he simply felt there were better options available!
Evans explained that Erwin, who spent a brief spell on loan at League One side Bury earlier in the season, is not at the required fitness level to warrant a place in the side.
Evans said: "Lee Erwin needs to get fitter. He can either get fitter or go to Scotland. The nice thing is he's working so hard at Thorp Arch, I think he's got his sleeping bag in.
"When we get him where we want him, which is only where he was at Motherwell, we're getting Lee back in control [of his fitness] and he'll have a big future at Leeds United."
Discussing Botaka, Evans explained that he missed his opportunity to impress and has had to go the the back of the queue.
"Young Jordan's been unfortunate. He came on against Charlton, we didn't think he helped us open the door.
Three sleeps until Christmas. Who's getting excited.
Tell me, what is the worst Christmas present you have ever received?
Morning KissaWhen Erwin came on against Rotherham he looked so unfit so not surprised he has been dropped.
Sounded like Steve wasn't happy with his attitude to me on the interview
Morning GloryMorning folks.
Works present:
Met the wife at Christmas....l. Nuff said.
Was that her worst ever Cliffms pressy?

Morning Chippy
I totally agree but to say he gave him a chance against Charlton when he was an UNUSED substitute is plain stupid and proves he spouts bollocks what he thinks the fans want to hear.Morning ristac, there are some players, however good, will never get a look in as they rub their Manager up the wrong way.
I honestly hope you are right.Seems Evans is doing a decent job so far and once he beats Rotherham in the cup and carries on with our recent point haul I will be well chuffed. lets hope for a strong holiday push from the lads.
Was listening to a Martin O'Neill interview a couple of nights back and he made an interesting passing comment which no one seemed to pick up on. Be basically said that so many modern footballers are either difficult or impossible to handle. I doubt if we even realise 10% of the difficulties managers face daily. Example, the Sol Bamba video on twitter yesterday pissed at a party in a flat with a few others. Im sure its not something Evans wants to see or maybe Bamba either, but what can a manager do about itMorning all and happy Xmas. I heard Evans last week say that Erwin wasn't managed properly when he arrived from Scotland. He didn't name names but was pissed off with someone on the coaching staff for allowing some players to do their own thing. Seems Evans is doing a decent job so far and once he beats Rotherham in the cup and carries on with our recent point haul I will be well chuffed. lets hope for a strong holiday push from the lads.
ristac I think that bbc report is wrong. He came on for mowattI totally agree but to say he gave him a chance against Charlton when he was an UNUSED substitute is plain stupid and proves he spouts bollocks what he thinks the fans want to hear.
Remember all these promises about strengthening the squad in December and remember that our number one target is Lafferty. I guarantee that IF we do sign Lafferty we will be moaning about deadwood in 6-8 months time when Evans has left the building.
I honestly hope you are right.
Morning Hamase, a hamock sounds like a great present
