Is Xisco really off to Boro?

I think he hasn't been given a chance tbh, had a good cameo when he came on against Villa and assisted the goal, looked very decent in Pre-Season too.

Looks like he's off to Boro now on loan.

Let's all have a Xisco!
Let's all have a Xisco!
Na-na-na-na!

That is all.

Hopefully he does well there, then we can either look to play or sell him. Not been given much of a chance at all with us though.

Apparently we dont play him because of a clause in his contract that states something like each time we play him he gets more money, something daft like that. But i'd like to see him at boro, to get him some game time, i think he will impress just we haven't gave the poor lad a chance.

I hope he goes there and discovers some magical form and bangs in about 20 goals including 2 hat-tricks. Boro say "can we have him permanently" we say "no" and then we can finally play him. We partner him up with Carroll and he starts where he left off with Boro and scores for fun leaving him being labled the new Torres.

We can dream :/

I hope he provs him self, from what i have been told and seen at the aston villa game (the time he was on) he played well and set up carrolls goal.

From the Chronicle today: Spanish striker Xisco, who cost Newcastle £5.7m in 2008, woke up to headlines linking him with a move to Championship strugglers Middlesbrough.

But Pardew said: “I’ve not heard any news on Xisco, I was surprised to hear the story.

“There has been no contact with Middlesbrough at all.

“We have contacted a number of Spanish teams to see if they are interested.

“He’s a lovely lad and popular with players here. He’s lost his way a bit.

“I’ve sat down and told him that if nothing comes out in the transfer window this time, he will stay and we will try to get him back on the scene again.

“We’ll work with him. Sometimes it’s not about the attitude of the player, it’s about the attitude of the club as well, and we’ll work him.

“If he’s prepared to change things a bit, I’m prepared to as well.”

Xisco's going to be the next Torres, just you watch

He'll come out firing on all cylinders some day and Carroll will struggle to regain his place

I hope he's given a chance, we've seen practically nothing of him but aside from the feigning injury thing he hasnt done anything wrong. It says he gets along with everyone and is a nice guy, the reputation he came with, he cant be the worst striker. I hope he gets a chance, certainly sounds more professional than Ranger tbh.

So essentially the club has looked around in an attempt to offload him with no success to date.

If he's still here in a few days time then Pardew will try to get him involved a bit more in the set up with the intention to sell on... He's got 2 seasons left on his contract (expires summer of 2013).

This rumour that if Xisco plays we have to pay more.

Mike agreed a contract that stipulates if he plays 10 games we pay an added million or so to Depor and then balks at playing him to save money but pays his £50k per week?
