In short, we have not won away in some time, let a two goal lead slip twice in three games and this one we're going to lose!

The Opposition
Promotion contenders, good manager, good players; in short, we're going to lose.

We've won only once away from The Valley this season, which amounts to one out of the last thirteen away games; in short, we're going to lose.

Head-To-Head

It don't really matter, I've not seen us beat Burnley in the last couple of years when we've been in the same league. Probably some time in the 80s when I was a wee kid, we probably did; in short, we're going to lose.

Club Updates
Our head coach acknowledges that Burley are a strong team, already admitting that we're probably going to lose; in short, we're going to lose.

In short, no one thinks we're going to win.

Outcome
Have I mentioned that we're probably going to lose?

You seem pesimistic China. Has something happened? Poor manager perhaps?
Frankly, our only hope is the Sheff. Weds effect, where Burnley assume they only have to turn up to win, and therefore don' t turn up.

We just seem to let our leads slip. Brighton & Hove Albion were ripe for the taking, and we seriously f***** up that game. Then we did exactly the same 10 days later against Bolton, who have scored only one goal in their last five away games!

I don't think it's pessimism, it's realism.

That game against Bolton Wanderers was the last straw for me. We're going down, and you can't deny that.

Perhaps the Burnley players have some Christmas shopping to do and they may play their U18's? ...... or perhaps we could play our U18's <ok>

There is always hope you never know not beyond us to fluke a win but I doubt it very much.
Go a goal up we are completely fooked .
Key to victory is we have very little possession Burnley miss a host of chances and we sneak one in 95th min to gain undeserved victory.
Chance happening have just looked it up on my probability metre.

A comfortable 2-0 home win, both goals coming in the first half. Roland cracks open the bubbly to celebrate a second-half clean sheet, 'Mare orders another sofa for the NE quadrant, and Fraeye is given an extended contract until after the Colchester game.

Our squad is fine though isn't it Carol! Can't fathom why Moussa isn't on the bench. We have 2 centre backs, two left backs, RCC and Kag. Average age 20 <doh>
