Maguire - really good performance with Davies being a bit off form, brought the ball out well Robertson - only player to run with the ball first half, carried that on second half too, always an option. Hernandez - that touch and volley start of the second half was a thing of beauty shouldve got a corner, good positioning once more for the goal and put Chuba through for a sitter. Not sure what one of Elmo or Dave have to do to get dropped on that right side.....****e the pair of them once more, they just don't seem to be gelling at all still.
McGregor Hernandez Livermore Didn't see it yet - on in a couple of hours, based on Burnsy/Swanny commentary. Edit: Just watched it. No change. Robertson was the only player other than McG to perform in the first half. Hernandez played well all game. Livermore mainly for his determination in getting the winner.
Hernandez - good job he was on the pitch Robertson - best of a bad performance from back 8 McGregor - good saves early on and showed great passion rinsing Odubajo when he put the ball out for the Reading injury Midfield was full of absolute cloggers, we wouldn't have scored a goal if we'd played for a year. We were lucky Reading showed absolutely no ambition after their goal, the movement of their forwards was tearing our defence a new one. Well done to Hernandez for his goal, he knew he wasn't gonna get any service so he decided to do everything for himself.
McG, good saves throughout the game! Abel H, 2nd half really good touches! Livermore, a lot of running & got the goal, I like the fact he shoots from range, but he wastes more than scores, hopefully he'll eventually get his eye in & go through a purple patch! Close for Meyler, Robbo & Harry! Jake put in a good shift tonight, & got the goal that counts! I'd take 3 points over 3 goals every game!
Our midfield trying to get back resembles a fat woman running for a bus with shopping bags in each hand. They genuinely haven't a clue and today we played our get out of jail card. If that had been at Reading and not here, we'd have conceded 5…,!!! MOM Gregor for the passion that he shows. If he could play every position he would.
I can see why Akpom's reaction has wound people up but let's not get carried away. He threw a pair of gloves on the floor. Bollocking and a fine and move on.
Greegsy Harry Hernandez Really lucky they were more interested in wasting time than finishing us off.
McGregor - kept us in the game 1st half Robbo - always willing to drive forward Livermore - for the winner if nothing else
