Next time I move it will be in a wooden overcoat. It's extremely stressful. Good luck Funk. It will sort itself out.
You'd be surprised how many people answer no to that, Gordon. There's still Landlords not playing ball and not using the Government deposit scheme. Silly really as it doesn't leave them a leg to stand on when it comes to things like this.
Sounds legit, is it a form 8?? (that's me questioning for my own knowledge cos I'm not sure that sounds right) You could let her serve the section 21 and when the courts are involved you will be sent a defence form as to the reason why you are fighting against the eviction. Did the council serve a notice on the landlady, do you know? Anyways, going off the little bit you have said there, you would obviously need to take legal action and not just my word for it, I reckon you could have a case there. If you could prove everything... Also, if you went down that road, think about your health mate. Could you cope? I'm not trying to convince you either way. It could be a hell of a lot of **** though and it's probably not worth it. Sit on your arse until the 4th (or whenever) then make your move when YOU ARE READY.
I needed to get rid of a tenant about 6 months ago, and filed a section 21 thingy . . . . what a ****ing farce the whole palarva was (not just that form) and I had a genuine reason for selling the place (I sold it in June) As it happened I didn't need the form, but I had everything correctly in place (the deposit etc.) otherwise I could have had a big problem By sheer coincidence I'm sitting watching telly in that house right now . . . . work that ****er out
6a is just the form that needs to be filled out and issued to you, that acts as serving the section 21 notice. There's probably a better way of explaining it, explaining things has never been my strong point..
Which is? Have they actually given me proper notice? This letter isn't numbered, I've received nothing more than a letter informing me I have to move out.
That's not right mate, they should be issuing you with a proper form. I'll see if I can dig one up, gis 5
That's the best my skills can come up with @Big Funk Allardyce Is this what you have been issued with?
My parents rent their house out in Darlington (cockerton) but having read the story there's no way they'd be acting like you've described. Hope it all works out mate. ps. It isn't in Cockerton is it? I'm certain it isn't but thought i'd just check!
