No fevriul, after the Sunderland match you have a torrid time with a lot of difficult matches i.e. Palace who are flying.

On the old BBC606 I think or on ja606 in it's first year I predicted as DawnJayChickasaw a relegation battle for Chelsea soon. I expected it two years ago but JM came back and spoiled the prediction.

Another loss.
Shambolic.......even if we are extremely unluckly.
Leicester march on to the top of the league while Chelsea face a relegation battle, its like the two clubs have swapped fortunes.

It's like Trading Places all over again :bandit: Two old blokes somewhere are swapping a dollar as we speak.

They won the game as did Bournemouth, in the case of Bournemouth, they held out against us and scored with one of 3 shots in the game, Leicester would have been happy with a draw and they played like it, both their goals were good.

But in both games we had chances to score and did not take em, and in the end the only stat that counts is who gets the most goals. Every one needs a bit of luck, saying you don't need luck is bollocks. come on.

Bournemouth played us off the park, as did leicester, 90% of aimless possession doesnt change that fact.

Leicester and bournemouth deserved to win those matches, as did liverpool, as did, southhampton, as did city, swansea, newcastle...etc.

The fact is we have not played better than anyone in a LONG time in the premier league. We didnt make chances in this game not enough for a team of our stature anyway.

When bayern munich play anyone, they dont sit there and complain about luck. When madrid draw against getafe, they dont take solace in the chances they created. When barac beat a team 1-0 they dont sit there and say "we played alright" they strive for excellence.

We are in that category of clubs, dont let anyone tell you otherwise.

THREE years aggo we won the CL, and FA cup in the same season, the saeson after that the EL,

last season we won the league and league cup double.

Make no mistake, this season is UNACCEPTABLE the performances have been too.

We dont need luck, as I said, we need to be better than our opponents, something we havent been all season.

Strangely I feel Defoe might be instrumental against Chelsea.
Yep, we also have an emerging talent named Watmore. He's going to rip that defence to shreds and M'Vila will walk all over their midfield at the moment. Like I say, it's a game we should be winning, but, I never ever, count my chickens.

What about chelsea's chickens? <whistle>

Fck no, he's no good in a relegation fight! You're aiming much higher!
I had visions of us going for him because he will be out of work and premiership experience etc.. They'd be a bloody coup at the Stadium Of Light if he was appointed as the next gaffer.

Sam's an old head and this is the sort of match his experience counts for.

Chelsea relegation is currently available at 200/1 with SportingBet which seems a mental price. It's double figures with most.

Or you can have 250/1 on them to win the league.

Let's see how December fans out for Chelsea before we make any relegation statements.
