Everyone is entitled to their opinion and whilst I can agree up to a point with KIO's view, I do feel he's 'jumping the gun' somewhat.
Yes, yesterday's lack of effort was scandalous, but even if we fail to garner many more points this year, I still feel that AN is learning all the time and if I get reasonable odds, then I ill back us to stay up. Also, if we were to go down, I'd definitely want AN at the helm in our battle to go straight back up!!!!
Edit - I just hope we get some decent signings early on in the transfer window and not be subject to a last minute panic buy!!!!

Early dealings are going to be crucial, agree with that. We've trips to Bournemouth and Stoke in the middle of January, and getting players in early enough to have an impact in those games could mean an awful lot, particularly the Bournemouth game which is no doubt going to be a real 6-pointer.
Actually, looking at the fixtures, the end of March and into April has a run of fixtures we're really going to have to do well in. WBA (A), Newcastle (H), Palace (A), Sunderland (H), Watford (H) is a run where I can see less than 10 points causing problems for us. If the board feel that Neil has to go, making the change before those games is going to be the best time to do it, and is fairly reasonable to Neil as he'll have had time with whatever new signings we make.

What makes you think AN would take us straight back up? Darling Delia and Doomcaster made that mistake before when they kept Worthington in the job after he took us up and then down. Look let me make myself clear I'm not saying AN should be relieved of his duties just yet far from it, BUT if we are starting to get cut adrift as we enter the new year we should consider all options. One of which would be changing the manager because as I keep saying WE MUST STAY UP AT ALL COSTS.
We got lucky last year new manager impetus got us over the line after a dreadful start, new manager impetus would hopefully see us stay up. We're all entitled to our opinion and that's mine.
I've deliberately stayed away from the message-board version of Canary Call, but Strictly is on now, so my options are limited. Even as discouraging as yesterday's performance was, it's far too early to panic. The reality is that as a promoted team, we are one of the favourites to go down. Watford have now moved well clear of relegation, so we now have to dislodge 2 established PL teams. That isn't going to be easy, but the answer isn't to panic and get a new manager in, and most certainly not Brendan Rodgers. Death by 2000 passes is not something I'm willing to put up with.
We have a big squad, so we should use it. The experiment with Grabban was tried and worked to an extent with Arsenal, but yesterday he looked pathetically lightweight. Mbokani gave me some belief when he came on, as did Jerome. We had 5 midfielders to their 4 and yet we struggled to get forward while they moved forward freely. That isn't down to the manager, it's down to the players who simply didn't put in a shift. Those players had their chance and they blew it. Rudd got his chance and did well, IMO, so let's give some others a chance as well. Odjiodja-Ofoe and Mulumbu deserve a chance as well, whoever has to be dropped to make room. Players need to know if they perform badly they'll be dropped. The time has come.

Now in the bottom three , one win in eleven games and I do not believe our Rookie manager has what it takes to turn our fortunes around. Wake up and smell the coffee boys, if we want to be playing Premier League football next year we need to bring in an experienced head sooner rather than later. No way on God's earth will we get anything from the next two games either, basically we're ****ed if we stay as we are. Still at least those 'little Norwich' fans (I use the word 'fans' loosely), who prefer Chumpionship football will be happy

Personally, From our summer transfer business I prepared myself for relegation. I love AN and think he will succeed if given the chance. I've been ready for relegation. Take the parachute payment, use as much as we need to keep hold out our best players, use the rest to buy better players than the Championship sides can afford. AN will be better for the Prem experience than he was when he took us up.
I think this makes sense, There is also a good chance that he can turn it around, there are clear indications of learning, Notwithstanding the results so fat, I believe that there will be a better second half to the season. But it does depend on adding a couple of quality players. Lets hope January is a good month.

He'll be (AN) as devastated as the fan base if we do indeed go down, but will learn loads from the whole sorry saga (if that's how it pans out). Questions galore to be answered, though:
a) Is he shrewd / experienced / impartial enough - to recognise the glaring deficiencies in the current squad depth?
b) If so, will he get sufficient financial backing from the board to 'plug the gaps'?
c) Will the players he identifies want to jump on board a potentially sinking ship?
Stay tuned, folks - answers to be revealed very late in January!

I'd say yes to a) but no to b) and c).
I'd tend to agree, OCF - which would mean that he - and therefore we, are behind the '8' ball - and the bloody window hasn't opened yet!
The situation isn't the result of bad results by us but by some pretty spectacular ones by Bournemouth and Newcastle. People who think replacing the manager are living in a dream world. Collymore commenting on Villa- Arsenal was saying the players won't go to Birmingham so that will definitely apply to Norwich. Let's just accept that we may have a year in which to hammer the binmen a few times.

Yes I realise that Cromer, haven't missed a game home/away inc cup at Everton this year. So feel qualified to make comments on him. Just think we're carrying him and he's going along with it. We can't afford to carry anyone, they all have to put in 100% and I don't think he's doing that.
Redmond has been ineffectual of late but none of our players have been consistently good performers all season.
Problem is a lack of investment in the squad over the Summer not the manager.
