IF Spurs beat Newcastle we will have actually improved our league standing this weekend unbelievably. Could have been so much better though had CJ not missed the sitter of the century
I liked (did not like perhaps) the look of the substitute that run through the Arsenal midfield and defence quite easily (Adama Traoré). Looked like he could a right handful for most defences.
I doubt it will happen, but just imagine if the current bottom three went down. Three 'big' clubs, the media would hate it !
Drop zone Я us - and I've seen precious little to suggest we have what it takes to do anything about it
Ah well, at least none of our January signings can kid themselves they aren't in a relegation scrap. We need to at least stay in touch now, then strengthen in January and get ourselves safe. The back to back home games against Villa and a currently out of form Southampton over Christmas look massive now. Even if we don't pick up any other points beforehand, two wins then would put us on 20 points after 20 games.
Agreed Cromer and if we play like we did in the first half yesterday, some teams could be 'out of sight' by half time!!!
It's going to be tough for sure - I can't see us getting owt from the next two games despite both United and Spuds losing to our rivals this weekend.
Oh well, #NCFC fans, on the bright side, we've still got to play #Villa twice. That's a certain 6 points, everybody beats them. Don't they???
