What, keep us exactly where we are in the league and get us into the knockout rounds of the Europa? LVG has already managed that!

Or did you mean he could sell all the best players to Bayern then have a strop, resign and look for a club that's already sold all its best players to bigger clubs?

To be honest, I don't think we have helped the team. Before form even began to decline, ex players started a very negative trend that eventually got to the fans. It has a role to play in completely casting doubts in players' minds. If the world keeps telling you that you are sht, it's only a matter of time before you actually start acting as they've projected.

United organization was too spoilt with references riches of the past glory, I feel. Either way, it is LVG that's going to fall on the sword. But I fear for us if the next manager fails to work out to exact tune of what we have been conditioned to expect in a very short timeframe.

Because you see the whole game as a results based business (or about success and glory) you think everybody else sees it the same way. The results declining was inevitable but not the root cause of LVG's critics. It's all about the performances. They dictate everything. The way our players have been playing for the best part of a year stinks of fear and mediocrity. There's no arguing against that bcos you only have to watch the way we play. Nothing to do with results or success. If LVG had the players, playing to their full potential, giving 100% for him, and we were still exactly where we are today, he'd still have the backing of the majority of United fans including myself. This all gets lost on the "results" and "league table" followers.

3 points off the top. I would say the results have happened somewhere. Though they could and should be better. Easy for me to say of course, I don't have the pressure or expectation on me.

First season back in europe. Just because some of our fans maybe thiughtbwe should be winning this, I realised were not Barcelona, so we won't. Though we should have got out the group, it was so tight, it changed 5 times of the final day.

Results are the be all and end all of "results" and "league table" fanboys like you. The trouble with that idiocy is that once the results dry up you have no arguments left. The rest of us look at the performance as anyone with half a brain (half more than you) realise that you can only mask 5hit football for so long before it catches up with the results. 99.9% of posters will understand what I've just said, but you probably won't. So I'll say in advance.... WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSH!

It is still three points off the top after horrible run of games. I don't think that's a loser mentality. Fergie would have lost the game last night with the decimated squad.
