JET was a waste of a sub.
Agree we passed it around in first half then they got better.
From upper loft sounded like a wake to me then manager's 1st game!!. Why have Ali & 2 blockers? Why have 4 forward thinking players on bench? You can only bring 3 on. Half time "male trough" rumour was Chaz disciplined for being 45 mins late for training? Thought Perch had decent game, Matty has little impact through middle. But Faurlin pure class 1st half
Formation caught them by surprise for a bit. But 2nd half they dropped Vokes onto Faurlin knowing that Sandro and Henry were not capable of playing the ball out as Faurlin was
Hoilett buzzed around a bit but same as always no end product were it counts. Fer disappointing. Phillips out of position but okish
But the perfect example of everything wrong with the negative safe workmanlike approach was when our best chance of the game fell to Henry in 2nd half. I literally had time to turn turn to mate and say he's dodging responsibility as he looked for someone else to pass to instead of taking it on.
Shouldn't have been him on in that position. How he looked at a team that hasn't score from open play since MK Dons and thought you know what this team needs; Karl Henry.
At home to approach a game so negatively was shameful. Heaton won't have an easier game all year

deflated when I heard the team news, got to start Charlie and JET, people were leaving in numbers with more than 10 minutes remaining
Only a few months ago we would have let in 4 goals and got hammered...now we hard to beat..and a goal line clearance...prevented us from winning.

I find it difficult to agree it was good. BBC reckons we had five shots on target but I'm struggling to think of them.
I still think we will be the first team to beat Brighton ....keep the faith...there is no instant gratification....
It was crap . Starting with no striker I dnt care who he is , just get one on the pitch
anyone who leaves with 10 mins to go when its 0 - 0 is a bit of a plum in my opinion, boring game or not.
do you not think we were decent in the first half? We played high tempo, had a few good chances and they were well rattled. They're 8 places above us in the table and we made a good team look nervy. 2nd half…ok…fair cop…we weren't good.
I thought Henry had a very good first half - some great passes and interceptions
Surprised that Junior was substituted
Ali should've been substituted - he had a great first half but then had a shocking start to the second and looked well off the pace

I hate to say it...and I was no fan of Henry being no 1 on the team sheet but.....
Once Henry went off we really disintegrated .....also did you see the back heel into the path of Phillips? in the first half too.
Impressed with the defence today must say....

I wouldn't say they were rattled. Think their keeper made one serious save (with his legs from Phillips).
But surely the 2nd half performance was down to fitness levels and getting used to playing a high tempo game for 90 minutes.
It will surely take a month or so, till we can maintain that style deep into the second half.
And there will be many weaker teams that will crack earlier. But agree a striker on the pitch creates problems for the opposition, but if Charlie still isn't fully fit, and JET doesn't justify a starting spot over Hoilett/Phillips/Fer, there aren't any other choices ???
Thought we played some decent football in midfield but posed absolutely no threat up front again
