It is time that any new manager coming in has some say on recruitment, these French players Huw are not a patch on the Spanish players who are technically far superior, the club needs some serious re-structuring regards scouting and recruitment, you have purchased dross lately with Gomis, Tabanou, Bartley, your getting too old Huw for Director of football, step aside and give it to someone younger and more experienced than you. Huw you are out of you depth at this level regarding player recruitment hand it over and stick to the book keeping...

That's what I like, new manager clean slate and no favourites, so all are now picked on merit and form.

Perhaps I'm being naive but I thought it was the job of the manager to decide what players he wants and the job of the money men to sort out the finance and get him within the budget available.. If Huw Jenkins signs the players he wants and doesn't take note of the manager's wishes it's an absolute disgrace. I wouldn't manage any club in those circumstances. Huw Jenkins must have negotiated the deal for Gomis so he's the one who cocked it up.
