I've tried explaining many times I don't doubt Lukaku will score a lot of goals, just that they're the type of goals that don't actually get Everton anywhere

That's not how the forum works unfortunately or you could be accused of sticking your nose in on the original thread where the bet was first made - which was a thread about LFC's pre season tour .... which had what to do with you?
Yet I didn't create an article about the resulting conversation, the Schnoz did.
I have followed the thread after being tagged into the thing, now it shows Lukalu doing well....his goals are meaningless ;-)

It's his team's board, he can do what he likes on it which includes making as many threads, charts and graphs his little heart desires.
That's sort of how our board works on here - an idea comes up on one thread and someone goes off and makes a whole new thread about that idea. It keeps the board active and as you may have noticed, any thread created by astro draws rivals in like bees to a honeypot. This one being another fine example.
Anyway you just focus on your man winning the bet for your very worthy charity

Lukaku has 4 equalising goals though to Benteke's 1.
Of further interest [possibly only to me] Balotelli had 1 match winner last season. Food for thought

What a silly stat to look at, every goal scored helps towards a win, 3 points or 1 point. Without Rom's goas we would be struggling a little.
