As Bowkett was both Chairman and Director, that makes it sound like we're getting two new board members, with one leaving (If I've interpreted that correctly). Presumably in board meetings that will further dilute Delia's influence on things.

In fairness him and McNally sorted out an almighty mess, but a fresh start might be good thing, it's a different climate these days and we perhaps need someone who is more willing to take risks at the helm.
They should get rid of Stephen Fry, he offers us absolutely nothing and barely bothers to attend games.

The announcement did say that here would be no change in ownership:

I technically agree, ReR, but I don't see how we can expect to achieve the first highlighted part without some form of intervention from the second. Lower league (perceived) upgrades, loans and freebies just ain't going to cut the Colmans - imho

I can understand your frustration, Cromer, but AN hasn't signed any lower league players and the two loans have both shown their worth, IMO. Except for Kean, all the others are established PL players, even the 'freebie' Mulumbu.
Don't misunderstand me, I'm not advocating going down the Chelsea / Manchester City route, but in order to compete at anywhere near the required level sadly requires more money than we are prepared / able to spend. Maybe we just need to extend our scouting network to try to locate more reasonably priced gems from Scandinavia, Belgium, etc?
We want success but we don't really just want to be seen to be buying it. It is a dilemma and one that I understand fully. the thing is, you look at today (speaking at half time 0-1) and you think there is no way we can compete sensibly without some serious investment.
