Almost inevitable one of the big boys will be buying Rashaan. 20s would seem fair enough for now. No More Heros for the RSA at 6s seems like a big price. Dutch with More of That and surely you have the winner?!
Rashaan's owners have slapped on the "not for sale" sticker and will be heading to Leopardstown with him on St. Stephens Day. http://www.sportinglife.com/racing/...-knight-frank-juvenile-hurdle-at-leopardstown
I like Moon Racer to Ron but i I wouldn't back him if he goes straight to the festival, not without seeing him jump a hurdle first.
Ron last I read was he won't be running until the spring so they will be doing well to find a suitable race before Cheltenham.Fingers crossed we will see the old boy run again this season.
Correct lads. Moon Racer had a setback and is being aimed at the spring. Gonna be very tough to win a Supreme with that prep.
Looks like the prize for this race will be going over to Ireland and the Mullins stable once again- A Mullins 4 timer on the cards again?
He has a very strong hand that's for sure. Douvan still needs to come on from his chase debut though and show he is an Arkle and not a JLT horse. The Supreme is very much up in the air but I haven't seen much from this side of the water that looks a good one yet. Perhaps that Henderson one that dotted up at Newbury last week?
Long Dog and Bachasson proved they are serious horses at the weekend and they seem to be a fraction behind the best that yard has to offer. At the very least Mullins will be competitive in the Supreme. Although he can't win it every year boys. Its December and we haven't seen the supposed wonder horse, Min, yet so I'm beginning to think he's had a slight set back.
Punchestowns little half-brother no less. Although I note that Mr Henderson says he is going to allow this one plenty of time to develop.
The rumours are MIN's on the easy list after a gallop with LIMINI the other week. Poor horse is still in trauma...
Seen nothing mate, no entries even. Must be still waiting on her to come to a halt, think they took the handbrake off and let her hit top gear in the gallop Least one of my other lads I'm liking YORKHILL runs tomorrow!
Looks like Black Hercules will be out at the weekend - Navan on Saturday or Punchestown on Sunday Hope he can turn into an RSA contender ....................
Notice PP have gone 14/1 for Min for Supreme and have cut Yorkhill to 8's. Interesting as they sometimes have an insight into Mullins long term targets.
Min is due to run at Punchy on Thursday,I'll know then if I'll be ripping up my ante post ticket or looking smug!
Not often you hear me go venturing after a Mullins horse antepost but if you want Pont Alexandre in your portfolio then grab the double figures now. I was very happy with his chase debut, an absolute natural over them in every sense of the word. Hopefully they just go easy with him- I'd be more than happy with just the one more run before the festival. He goes into the TC antepost club: Vaniteux 20/1 (Arkle) Pont Alexandre 10/1 (RSA Novice Chase)
As far as updates on horses plans/fitness, if anyone can help with the following it would be appreciated: Tell Us More Milsean L'Ami Serge Limini
It was stated at the end of October that he was ‘very close’ to make his chasing bow but, of course, he still hasn’t appeared. With little more than 4 months (and just 3 to Cheltenham) of the campaign left if they don’t get L'ami Serge out soon over the big ‘uns I think chasing will be scraped for another term.
