We have the tools to survive guys, theres no need to buy players desperately, that's what lead to our downfall, buying players for ridiculous prices or for no reason.

We have taken 6 points from the games we needed to, and almost 6 from Spurs and Sun'lun. This was without Carroll and Tiote. All we need is around 10-15 more points, that's a few wins and some draws, which we are more than capable of.

We are getting Tiote back after 1 more game, Ben Arfa is a few more weeks, Carroll could be back soon.
Heck i reckon we could even finish in the top 10 easily this season.

Lets save our money, and get a quality striker and quality right winger this summer, and not take any more gambles. We know we have a beasty squad, but we don't need to finish in Europa league spots to prove this.

Ireland - Can stick his 70k a week up his arse. He can **** off.

Krancjar - Would be a decent signing, BUT WE DON'T NEED HIM!

How about buying players for reasonable prices who are required such as a right winger and a defensive mid now that Routledge is at QPR, Smith is injured for the long term and Tiote has a hobby of collecting yellow cards?

At the right price... why wouldn't we buy? A bit of a stupid article to be honest.
 
Agree with this article, we have cover for most places... well we did before routledge got loaned out and smith got injured. I'd say play some of the youth kids too, if needs be.
 
I fail to see why we don't need anyone.

Tiote is banned for one more game, however 2 more yellows and he is banned for 2 games again. Smith is out for the season, Gosling is unreliable, Guthrie has a knock and Gutierrez is ****, Ben Arfa won't be match fit, leaving Nolan and Barton, one of them is bound to get injured at some point.

WE DO NEED SIGNINGS!
 
I agree we shouldn't force our hand or chuck money around to plug gaps BUT Tiote will no doubt pick up 2 more yellows n see another 2 games out on the bench, Routledge has gone n no-one seems to be able to give a date for Carroll!

This is not a WUM, just wondering what your thoughts were on Carroll's Injury. Do you think its as straight forward as has been stated?

The other week it was reported he was going to be injured for a couple of months, which was dismissed by your club. Now its reported that the straign is not responding to treatment as they thought and that he could be out for longer.

Or he was in Dubai pondering a big money move to another club which Ashley has accepted and Pardew has told him to take time to think about it.

Most likely has no legs this theory but somethings not quite right on this one?

Congrats on your season so far. Its good for the North east at present, obviously want us to finish above you still.

Well, I think any injury concerning the tendons is unpredictable, so I don't think the club is being secretive in a bid to cloak some ulterior motives. Things will be clearer after he sees the specialist in Sweden.

I can't see us catching Sunderland, but I think most fans would have settled for survival at the start of the season. We've done better than expected.

we need signings like steve bruce needs a new 'pelanty' taker!

With Carroll out we have no strikers, I wouldnt expect 10 goals between the other muppets.

As for not being held to ransom theres no chance of that any more if Seb larsson is pricing himself out of our market!!

Keith Gillespie is on a free I hear!?!? :p
