I think he's right but getting hold of those two established star players is very difficult. Even when you unearth them they end up at Real or Barca eventually. It's just the way football is nowadays.
Klopps on German TV today saying he would manage Bayern at the drop of a hat. The story in the fatherland is that he's missing Germany.
Means **** all and you know it. Try something original jot what your fed by Sky and the media. You really sound like Moyes going has crushed you Treble. Snap out of it ffs
Then you realise its December and the season started 4 months ago. Were well in to the season. Hardly the start. Hopefully you will get a calendar for Christmas so you don't make this mistake again
As usual you've missed the point entirely. If you're going to spend the evening trying to convince the world that yet another abject performance was the fault of everyone other than LVG then I'm out!
It's barely 3 months... and weren't you the one saying that "it's so important we have a great start to the season as that's what let us down last season" And yet here we are... back to last season. Anyway fck this ****. Astro wants a word
Was van gaal missing sitters? Quite a fun game. Lacking in quality though but people want fast paced action with very little quality. Fellaini and Martials misses were awful but then west ham had some shockers too. I know you think its FIFA Stan but come on, the manager doesn't control everything. Otherwise Pep would be considers the greatest player of all time due to "controlling" Messi. And good. Don't hurry back.
Our current slump only proves how important it was. so much so that with 6 draws in 9 we are still right up there. That's the value of a good start. Like Chelsea last season.
First half was absolutely dreadful. Second half of the second half was better when Mata was moved to 10 which was a very obvious thing to have tried from the start. Brining Fellaini in as Rooney's replacement was the decision of a coward. West Ham at home and we started with three DCMs. Shocking. All those morons in the stadium seemed to agree. One aficionado watching his internet stream didn't! If the manager has so little influence on the selection, formation, style of play etc then what is he actually there to do for all that money? Maybe not a great deal as he certainly doesn't look interested during the games! He's too busy playing Minecraft on his ipad!
So you are saying we would be in the same position if we had a worse start. I'm not so sure that adds up to be honest. Our form recently has been poor. That doesn't really change the fact our start was too. Few started better than us and we had significantly more points than last seasons start. Which had us playing catch up.
Thought it started well then went poor on the first. Second half was a bit end to end. Wasn't impressed by Mata at all and this is becoming a recurring them. Seems to have caught whatever Memphis and Rooney have. Bringing Fellaini in for Rooney is anything but cowardly. Cowards don't take risks and this was a big risk. Stupid, not cowardly. Though Fellaini should have scored it was still stupid. On van Gaal, im pretty sure we need a new finishing coach. Should have brought Kliuvert with him. He can finish. Whoever we have now must have taught Torres at Chelsea.
I think up to this point last season, we had, had an equally mixed start. You may say that 15 games is longer than what you meant, but I'm sure what you said was we needed a better start bcos that's what held us back for the rest of the season, ie. it meant we were always having to play catch up. Surely now you're not saying you meant a better start would compensate for a worse middle and end??
As I said, we are in a slump. For that I am grateful that we had a good start. It's value is being shown noe. Imagibe we had the sane 13 from 10 and then picked up hardly any in the next 5. We would almost be doing a Chelsea. Things need to change though and quick. I would take the scruffiest goals right now. And we better buy someone in Jan. Mane or Mahrez.
