Cant say that Lucas has had the best game. So wasteful. Far too defensive. Not sure why we go with Benteke and Firmino. Benteke doesn't move, while Firmino prefers little flicks which are ineffectual without movement. A midfield trio of Lucas, Allen and Milner is void of creativity. Lovrens been decent today.
Would like to see our passing stats... everyone's been terrible and with and without Benteke all we've done is pass it around sidewards and then lumped it forwards.
Yep. There is no need to ever start Benteke. Without even conceding, we lost the game in the first half. We let Newcastle gain confidence.
Lovren's been decent last few weeks to be fair.. starting to look somewhat like the player we thought we were buying.

They weren't terrible.. they did to us at their ground what teams have been doing to us at our own ground. They played it like an away game. Sat back... and didn't attack and said, fine break us down if you can.. and like our previous home games we couldn't.
Really? Don't even think we've started playing since we went behind... Newcastle just say back even more and we've just gone long even more.
