A week ago the regular readers were ebullient when PROOFREADER trotted up at 8/1. I doubt if he’ll be those odds of the morrow though, troops. Should, however, still oblige in the ‘lucky last’ at Sandown Park (3.30).

Proofreader carries just a 7 pound penalty for last weeks Taunton romp and really should be far, far, far too good once more.

    Good luck all.

    Exeter 1.10 Otago Trail 11/4
Seems people can't get money onto Venetia Williams charge quick enough this evening looking at the price slashing going on. I grabbed 11/4 there but that's gone already with Paddy Power. Someone surely knows something with this inexposed novice chaser pitched into his first handicap...(or else it's lemmings following lemmings, always possible<laugh>)

Tea For Two over fences!! He could well improve for the big obstacles. Big horse, big future.

Mon Succesor for Nicholls will win too in my book

By the going description I take it Sandown has avoided the poor weather? The going is good to soft so hoping that's correct.

Awful weather this side of the pond with even worst due for tomorrow eve/night and Saturday. I'd be surprised if Navan and Cork go ahead Saturday and Sunday.

I only use PP online but might still have a go despite the ****tier price. Always worth a couple of quid when stick puts one up

Evan Williams is in fine form of late and saddles a few runners today. Will have a play on these two:

    De faoithesdream 7/2 - sandown 1.30
    Roadie joe 4/1 - sandown 2.40

His other two runners (1.00 & 3.20) will probably be the ones that win now as I'm not backing them!

Is As De Fer running in two races within 10 minutes and at two different venues!?
That's going to take some doing

Proofreader now gone even shorter – a best priced 5/4. Those bookie chappies taking absolutely no chances, re him, today.
