Success in football is about being able to adapt to situations. United won't win the league by only playing conservative football. At times you have to just go for it. Equally Liverpool would have won the league in 2013/14 if Rodgers had adopted some LVG type tactics in the run in. As it is the wait for a Premier League title goes on and on and on and on (and on). I haven't seen the lowlights of the Swansea game but apparently Liverpool really tore it up with a whole two shots on target (including a penalty). Revolutionary stuff!
To be fair, give Klopp 250m and 18 months and they probably will be tearing it up more than United under Lvg
I can see that having one shot in the whole home game against Swansea shows #Floppyklopp as a great manager
Probably. He won't get the money or commit to the time though. The yanks have no intention of gambling away their profit and he is waiting for a job at a big club to open up.
And definitely more than Chelsea after 30 months and £290m under Mourinho. Although to be fair Liverpool were managing that under Brenton
It was amazing to see yesterday how much Chelsea have regressed. Not playing a striker, parking the bus and being over the moon to escape from WHL with a point. The league table doesn't lie.
Did you catch the lowlights of us murdering City the week before? I must admit I was at the game yesterday thinking exactly that though...."This is what life under LVG must be like every week"
Not after the Boys from Brazil ate him for breakfast no Mind you, I reckon he could play on his own against your lot and you'd still struggle to score.
We have struggled to score multiple goals this season. Occasionally we've managed to score as many as three goals but only against weak opposition.
The chavs are really in big trouble. They need wins and 3 points. The draw against Spurs is good for their morale but is not going to help them get into the CL. The title has gone ages ago. Jose's system has been found out and this is a ruthless league. They will do well to finish in the top half. Mathematically they can still do it but they are like an established mid table team trying to get into the CL. Just like Spurs and the RS.
To be fair Stan, I was just using this great thread to hit LVG with a stick. In fact I hope he stays and continues with his rebuilding Yeah, he's 2nd (fair play to him) so the sacking bit was fueled by a few pints of wife beater. If I was a Utd fan I honestly wouldn't know where I'd stand on the whole issue tbh.
1 or 2 players short of domination and that Liverpool's Klopp dream will end when Klopp goes to Bayern in the summer.
