I have to admit that I did fear the worst
When Ruddy made his crucial blip,
But Arsenal did not make the most of their burst
As we recovered from that slip

One point may perhaps not seem like that much
And maybe we should have had three,
But against a top side to stay well in touch
Will be a boost, psychologically

And it edges us slightly further away
From those right down at the deep end,
So all in all, by no means a shabby day
And I´d say we´re back on the mend

Good to see Wisdom A and Bennett R
Be given their chance for a ride,
Their predecessors may have to look far
For a return into the side

And Grabban as first scorer will have fooled most
But good to see that Alex Neil,
Has buried the hatchet somewhere on the coast
And will still give him a fair deal

And in a way, the PL´s youngest boss
Proved that he´s a match for the best,
Tactically he was never at a loss

Hi skald bor, point taken, you are well on the ball. Nice to see AN's faith in Grabban justified. We need all the help we can muster. Now he has scored hopefully he will now make amends for his earlier misdemeanour.

The wordsmith hiting the right note once again. Mixed metaphors but who cares.it ws a decent point abd certainly could / should have been more!! And who would have thought that Grabban would be the hero? Funny old game isn't it?

 

I hadn't checked the team sheet before the game, otherwise, I would have bet on Grabban to score. I didn't see Wes's miss until the highlights on MotD, but it was horrid!!!!
