Who's to say Pearson would want it? He could be in line for a Prem job when one of the lower clubs panic. Nice £1m bonus to keep up a Newcastle or Swansea á la Pulis.

Can anyone really see Pearson working with Ferdinand as DOF? Not a chance.......

As I alluded on a different thread; I believe that this might be the root cause of the problem.

In Neil we trust. I think Sir Les is going to be shut out in the cold (of the WC! <laugh>)

I like Pearson. Think his misdemeanours have been exaggerated. Also, would Warnock's heart be in it beyond this season at his age?

Hasn't he said publicly that he's not interested?
I suspect a temporary contract until the end of the season would be consistent with that statement but you may be right. He seems to be enjoying himself just now but were we to go on a six match losing streak, he might wonder why he's bothering with the stress at aged 67.

Pearson and Hoos have issues
Pearson and Les have issues

It is not going to be Pearson
Especially with the Newcastle job coming up soon
