Will we win?

I wouldn't have given that, but defenders need to grow some balls and stand facing the ball rather than trying to turn away which will make arms flail.

Oh well, job done Milner. Lets try and build on this.

Hope we can see this one out, because, in a weird, way, I'm starting to enjoy seeing us win games without playing well again - its something we haven't done that often since the days of Rafa

fair enough

It's only stonewall because it was in our favour. If that was given against us it would have illicited "never a penalty" cries.

I wouldn't have given it but it was one of those 50/50 things. When in doubt I think you don't give penalty though. Glad it was given of course.

Wenger risked half-injured Sanchez and just ended Arsenal's season

Why not?

If the player has time to turn, jump, and throw his arm up, he has time to not do those things and not punch the ball

Clearly wasn't deliberate and no time consciously react.

He reacted by jumping and throwing his hand up

So you're just allowed to make yourself big and block a cross into a dangerous area with your hand?

That's not really what happened though.

If someone kicked the ball into the back of Skrtels arm from 2ft away you would feel harddone by to concede a penalty. What makes it a grey area is his arms were wider than they had to be.

That doesn't make it a grey area, it makes it a nailed on penalty, and your comparison with Skrtel is obviously a false comparison

He was a coward who turned his back on the ball

Time to turn your back means time to not put your hand in the way (if you are brave enough look at the ball)
