Fighting terrorism, or making money?Bribes must have been flowing around for this to happen/

The government has admitted that the Army and UK civil servants helped market so-called "bomb detectors", which did not work, around the world.

I watched that documentary about British women who support ISIS. The fact that they're allowed to congregate and preach their hate is a joke. If they love their so called caliphate so much then they should **** off and live there.

But, but, but, I was told that this doesn't happen at all in muslim communities over here? @Spurlock

I agree mate, if you see the west as your enemy then why choose to live here? **** off to a muslim country that has the rules and lifestyle and you proclaim to want. Simple really.

Failing that, how about shut the **** up and integrate. Anyone preaching anti western hate, should be rounded up and ****ed off without ceremony. It's what would happen if we did the converse in Iran.

Yeah, instead we should kill each other over mythological weapons of mass destruction and for other fanciful myths calling it 'human rights' 'democracy' bla bla bla.

That's what's funny, the first line you use against Religion can be equally applied these days to those modern concepts I just mentioned, democracy, human rights, all made up to benefit, financially and otherwise, corporations and leaders.

In the name of freedom and democracy we must go around bombing the **** out of the world, feeding billions of dollars into corporations that profit off the war, while also simultaniously supporting tyrant and dictators, providing them in billions of aid, and providing them with billions of dollars of the latest advanced weaponry. And religion is the myth that wants to control people? Lol.

I don't think democracy was made up for the benefit of corporations and leaders. Naturally it's developed into something which panders to those but the origins of democracy were very well-intentioned back in Ancient Greece and Rome and probably earlier too.

Equally, I don't see how you can say human rights were established to benefit those at the top. Doesn't make any sense.

Continuing on from the attacks and the increase in military operations in Syria, a Russian fighter was shot down by Turkish forces. Allegedly a Russian rescue helicopter was also shot down. One of the fighter pilots was captured and is now dead.

Putin is fuming, America backs Turkeys claims, Russia have accused Turkey publicly, of supporting Isis.

Now Russia intends to supply the Kurds with high tech anti aircraft weapons in order to shoot down Turkish F16 fighters that give air support to Isis.

Turkey being European means that if Russia decides to attack Turkey, the EU will be obliged to support Turkey (something we should not be doing) despite it being well established that Turkey is one of the biggest supporters of terrorism on earth.

    What a mess.

Well currently that's what they're being used for, and you can add 'national security' to that list as well now, to keep you safe we must have complete powers to spy and snoop on everybody, even though it's been proven that despite all the powers being given to spy agencies, that they're still incompetent when it comes to stopping attacks, showing how these powers aren't to do with preventing terror, but extending big brother and control over society.

Russians should start learning from Iran, no need for a major direct conventional fight, train-supply proxies to hurt your enemies. You mention the Russians arming-traning the anti-Turkish Kurds, that's what they should be doing, create a major pain for the Turks and give the Kurds game changer weapons that can do some serious damage.

Now you're just rambling. You do realise how many personnel that these agencies are tracking? We are not talking a dozen or so people and so to call them incompetent is plainly ridiculous seeing as most people only hear about when things go wrong and not the attacks that are prevented. Personnally I'm quite impressed with our agencies who have apparently prevented up to 7 large scale attacks this year alone.

So it's ok for the Russians to use a proxy to bomb the crap out of people as long as the West doesn't bomb anyone like you mentioned earlier. Right.

The Turks warned the French authorities about some of the bombers a year ago, the mastermind of the attack was a well known ISIS member who even appeared in videos, yet like the TV series homeland, he actually did manage to turn fiction into reality and sneak back into the country, and plan an attack. One of the attackers who was involved was stopped by police after the attacks, but was let go.

Yeah, that's what I call incompetency, what do you call that? Professionalism? The French have openly admitted their incompetency.

Lol, yeah the agencies prevented 7 large scale attacks, says who? The agencies, right....How convenient. Government agencies have a history of making bullshit up or overexgareating supposed major plots they foiled, which turned out to be nothing major at all.

The fact remains that London has not suffered a major attack recently. It suggests that our security forces are perhaps a little more on the ball than the French have been.

I've absolutely no doubt that major attacks have been planned. London is one of ISIL's major targets.
