Most excited I've been about a match all season. How is everyone else feeling? Would you rather win in Tel Aviv or Tottenham?
Ill eat my hat if we beat spurs. They are like a homemade broth of all the facets of a team we cant play against right now, (resilient defence, great goalie, strong midfield press, speed and dynamic forward line). Basically the exact opposite of what we need to keep up the run
Could be just what we need, face your demons, chances are they will get stronger as the season wears on, lets get it over with. Is Tom Cruise playing?
A draw will be a start but realistically you need 3 points to start a run and get back to the top half but also to try to overtake one of the CL rivals.
It would be interesting if you beat Spurs as it'll clip their wings and give you confidence all of a sudden you'll be a threat again and there's another team in a very open league.
It'll be a cracking game but when we need to put a run together, it's perhaps not an ideal fixture. However that said, perhaps it'll take a big win at somewhere like Spurs to really get us going. We are of course very capable of getting a result and maybe we will be under-estimated for once.
The match of the week end to rival Lei/MU and a massive game: In fact one for both. Chelsea to keep winning. Spurs to confirm that the recent run is not just hype. That they do not crumble as they face the first big team. Arguably more important for Spurs to win at home from a psychological point of view. This is one of those matches that a draw is not of much use to either team. And a defeat is damaging.
So Man City, Arsenal and Liverpool are not big teams this season? We dicked all over Man City, Should have beaten Arsenal comfortably at the Emirshites, and probably should have beaten Liverpool. That said, I'll take a point at home to Chelsea. They are going to click sooner or later, and I'd rather it wasn't against us
normally a point would be decent but we really need to start picking up the points. Think it'll be a good game.
Typical Spud should've, could've. You should have won a major trophy since 1991 for a club of your size but haven't
Hmm, strange reply. Have a look at the post I was responding to, not sure where your post fits in really. I'm talking about the fact that Chelsea won't be the first big team we've played this season. What are you taking about?
My sentiments exactly - mental toughness (Willan being the exception) has been in short supply this season; could've done with facing Spuds with a decent run under our belts, a score draw is the best we can hope for unless we can be competitive for 94 mins.....that would be a first this season.
Sign of the times for Chelsea. To be honest though, with the amount of money they've spent on their squad they should be battering the ****s.
