The board should have pulled the plug , if they were going to , after the Norwich game.
I think Monk will do as good a job as anyone they bring in now till the end of December, be it bad or good results.
At least Monk knows the scoop already on how things operate
I hope they give Monk till the end of December , regardless of results , because I don't see a replacement doing any better given the tough job ahead till then .
Nothing would please me more than Monk getting a handle on things and lasting the season at the very least , but I don't like his chances.
We will see what Garry Monk is made of now and this is his last opportunity to silence the critics.
Personally , I would have pulled the plug after Norwich.

The BBC report comes as no surprise to me, I do think that if Monk refuses help and assistance this time around he's history, he should have taken the boards hint six weeks ago, it will probably be announced that 'Garry Monk will step down by mutual agreement' and lets see if the bookies front runners are accurate or not, doubt they are, Huw always pulls a surprise...............:1980_boogie_down:

I think Dai is in the frame .....

Dai has been a very naughty boy <laugh>

I didn't know that, and I wasn't referring to him,but to myself. It's called self deprecation.

You must surely remember banning me recently.
That was, presumably, for using the word "twat" against one of your gang members.
Strangely,or not so strangely, you allowed him free reign when he initially fired it at me.
Remember that,do you?

Can we get back to footy and ditch the ego trip lads? Now the way I see things is we are now firmly a goofball team, hoofing it to Eder/Gomis every bloody game, and Monk doesn't seem to want to use Fab to pass it out from the back, our footy is getting worse by the game, and Bournemouth for me was a bridge too far, and if Huw Jenkins dithers any further, our game against Liverpool this week is going to be a right old drubbing, and could well destroy any remaining confidence left in our team, and I have no doubt then that we will go into the festive season looking like right Turkeys ready for slaughter……<ok>

It's interesting that you choose to use the word "ditch", since you have now chosen to "ditch" Monk with such alacrity.
He it was, that you elevated to the level just beneath sainthood.
Such hypocrisy is par for your course, and something you would do well to "ditch". <cheers>
