Unfortunately yes, the short term knee jerk reaction amongst the *cough* less cerebral amongst our number, will be to blame the 'muzzles' etc and create hate and resentment amongst our own communities, which is again, what the real enemy here wants.

No doubt that the agenda is to stir up as much hatred as possible. They then hope that the average Muslim will soon have had enough of being spat on in the street by braindeads, and will then join their cause. In their perverted eyes, job done! Division created, let's have a war!

The current propaganda in the middle was revolves around Iran and Saudi Arabia claiming Israel is responsible for Isis. This is based solely on the fact they haven't attacked Israel... They are clearly building support.

Because of the media. The people in the UK read UK papers and watch UK news so only get to see one side of the story.

There are plenty of people in the UK who see the wider picture and there are plenty of people who see through the nonsense pushed our way through the media.

Unfortunately there are also those who take in what they see and come out with statements like your work colleague, I'd like to think they are a minority.

What gives me a little hope is that even though this site is a small cross section of UK and other countires residents the overwhelming majority understand that what happened in Paris is not down to all Muslims or down to Islam but down to an extremist group of people.

The silly arguments that are happening on here between a few are not sitting well with myself and I will not get involved, I suggest you do the same and look at the majority and ignore the minority that you disagree with.

I don't have any solutions for this centuries-old hatred between (principally) Arab and Jew; but I do have a fervent and abiding belief that we should not get involved in it, or take sides.

I'm not a pacifist. If someone punches me, I will punch them back. But I am not a bully, and I won't throw the first punch.

The problem the West has is that it has interfered in the Jewish/Arab conflict, taking the side of Israel, and it has enabled Arab fundamentalists the excuse, not only to attack us, but also to radicalize people against us. I wonder, for example, how many people converted to Islam for the simple reason that they wanted to fight the West?

B) I don't buy that 7/7 was pretty horrific for the people affected here in London, I work in the city and trust me it was no fun finding out that ****s kicking off every where around me. That was pretty well planned as well.

C) These are the situations that are used to create a them and us rhetoric and further alienate different race/religion against one another.

D) Whether we should or not get involved has been going on before but we couldn't find a reason to justify that and now there is a perfect excuse to get involved fully (even though we helped create this whole mess).

E) If we really want rid of them, why just bomb them and the normal infrastructure and not the oil infrastructure they control soon see them run out of money as well.

The conflict between arabs and jews isnt centuries old though. More like decades. Before that they tended to live side by side within mixed communities.

Problem is we cant say we shouldn't be involved, we have been from the start to now, the only problem is we don't really want a peaceful resolution otherwise we would not continually back Israel no matter what it does! Israel brutally annihilates the Palestinians when ever it likes and we silently plaudit them! That's like you said is a breeding ground for hatred in the first place, injustice and people take up arms, especially when they see a bleak future anyway.

This is happening in Iraq, Libya, ISIS controlled region, Syria Yemen and so on.....We back the tyrants, rebels who in turn become terrorists who hate us because of double crossings etc. We use the term terrorist very loosely these days as well it seems, every government that wants rid of a group just labels them terrorists all over the world, we should label terrorists as that and not label everyone group uprising as terrorism.

Tragedy is a tragedy regardless who it is like you said, but we seem to care only for our own, its a very selfish world we live in it seems " I'm alright Jack so screw you" I would like to think vast majority in the world are moral and ethical, although it don't seem like it most of the time.

One of the things I personally believe is that you have to fix yourself before you preach "Man in the Mirror"

im certainly not defending the media mate, I think they're a ****ing disgrace and absolutely are part of the problem when it comes to dividing people and what can only be described as **** stirring!

I work in London as well and I never tried to I insinuate one was worse than the other, just the way they simultaneously started to attack in 6 different areas was different.

It just gets to me a bit that it keeps getting brought up like people should be ashamed to sympathise - but there are many who do realise what's going on in other parts of the world but we're not journalists reporting news are we? Sadly many people only keep up with what they're fed from their favourite outlet
