A really sad day for sport, he was easily the best Rugby player I've seen, and one of the greatest sportsmen of all time. Ive never seen a Rugby player who could just bulldoze his way through defences like could. RIP

Without doubt. all I'm saying is he wouldn't stand out as much in today's game. He would still be world class though. Like Savea.
Was lumo 18 stone?????

Bolt would come into that category but having said that Bruce Lee would kick both into next week.Thats nonsense the players wherent any smaller in the 90s, it hasn't taken them til the 21st century to realise you need to be big and strong to be good at Rugby.
You won't find many athletes like Jonah Lomu, an 18 stone man who was lean, aswell as being able to run 100m in less than 11 seconds. Not to mention his agility and footwork. You get big guys these days, but they aren't lean, nor do they have the athleticism that Lomu had.
You get athletes and sportsmen who come along every now and then who are on another level to everyone else, and he was one of them![]()

if we're bringing Bolt into it, then surely Lance Armstrong deserves a mention. 7 Tour De France in a row![]()
