http://www.southwarknews.co.uk/00,news,24033,5227,00.htm going up this season so get the builders booked
these hammer mods are a nightmare, whats it going to be like when the fun league starts and we have two of them
Once West Ham move they will need this to remove the excess of seats please log in to view this image
ha ha can you imagine what it will like at the Olympic Stadium when The hammers move in and they are in League 1 with 12 fans turning up to a game!
They'll have to get the prayer mats down at Upton Park, as the site will probably become a mosque!! And as for our expansion. It has been talked about for years. Plus with the regeneration going on round the ground, they are just thinking in line with that.
Until this regeneration actually occurs and we actually get promoted I see absolutely no reason to expand the ground, as many fans of other clubs tell us regularly we don't fill it as it is and the money should be spend on the squad. If the demand for seats exceeded supply then quite frankly tough! the fans who have a history of buying season tickets, match tickets etc should be the ones given priority to watch us if we ever end up in the Prem and those who came to Wembley for the day can watch us on MOTD
Spot on MFC. All this talk when there are still empty seats all over The Den, plus the whole of the lower tier in the away end. And anyway, we are miles off becoming a settled premier league team.
Well not quite the same for ex pat fans my issue would be someone who hasn't bothered to go to a game in the last 10 years deciding to get a season ticket that should go to someone who's shown more support over the years They would soon **** off if we went down so I simply cannot see us ever needing a bigger stadium. Reward the 10k that regularly go offering 1st refusal on a seat and a lottery for the remaining seats, if you miss out then boo ****ing hoo
I agree with this totally! to be honest i have never had a season ticket until this year because i have never had the money upfront to get one, but i have always gone to at least 15 home games a year! so its not like im only going when we win! I think instead of expanding the stadium i think if they have the money to expand then it should go towards making the stadium nicer! getting a little run down now..
during the 80s and 90s hardly missed a game home or away, been to places on cold tuesday nights, middle of winter when it was the 4 of us and a bare few others stupid enough to do the same thing but no doubt if i were in England i would still be doing exactly the same thing
yeh the stadium could do with a lick of paint, I wouldn't want people who lack the money for a season or two to miss out as I understand from time to time people have other stuff that takes priority family, mortgage, bills. But 'fans' who've never gone, they can be the one's to miss out. Mighty you can bring your old ticket stubs from the 80s + 90s, wouldn't want you to miss out if we made the Prem
MFC it will be the same for me then as it is now. would have to pick and choose, its not a money issue its just the hassle, i come home for the important games when i can, or if i can nick a week when we have 2 or 3 games that i can get in saturday to saturday with a mid week game, i do want to try and get to more will just have to wait and see
