He's not 'turned' anything though. Everytime you've attacked the perpetrators (ISIS) he's not disagreed. However he has taken offence to derogatory remarks or attacks on his religion as an attack on him. He's sought to defend his faith, perhaps sometimes in rather rash terms and even with some poor comments (though he's not the only one - on both sides - so I dont see why certain ppl are criticising him for that yet have done the same). But that doesnt mean he sees himself as a victim of those attacks. Personally I thought that was a bit of a cheap shot tbh.

Not as cheap as saying he's been accused of supporting terrorists. That really is vicarious victimhood.

no, but there are by ar too many bad apples that the good cops turn a blind eye to.

Is a cop who does good work but allows other cops to commit crimes a good cop?
I can certainly understand the difficulty in being in sucha position, whichs is why the bad apples can get away with ****

That's a moral question. Not only police face such a dilemma.

If a parent shops their kid, are they a good or bad parent?

I must say, I am so proud that the mighty Spurs has been able to stand, in solidarity, with the French, tonight.
<ok>

Clever back pass by Rooney. Miscontrol by Ali when clean through, as well. Must be a terrorist sympathiser...

Not the same, cops are there to enforce the law, including the laws cops should follow.

So you think that if a cop does good work but stays schtum about a colleague murdering someone and planting a gun on the body, you think that is a "moral issue".

Murder is a pretty big crime dude. It's morally wrong and it is also 25 to life.

A good cop who allows that to happen in order to have a job, is not a good cop. Pretty simple. he may have reasons but the fact is they cannot be good cops because they are accessories to homocide

Yes but cops also have to protect themselves. Some take this literally and are almost gang like, which is wrong.

However shafting someone who may well be a friend as well as a fellow copper, is a moral dilemma.

Bosnia and now Turkey booing and chanting "Allah Akhbar" during their minute silences. Not cool at all.

We'll probably let them in the EU soon.

I blame Israel.

I really havent a clue where you're going with that, but I think you believe something that isnt true about him.

I really shouldn't have to say this, but nowhere in this thread by me (or any other poster) do I believe the accusation has been made that he sympathises with the terrorists. The accusation is that he sees attacks upon the twisted version of Islam that the terrorists hold as personal attacks upon himself, as it is the same faith he holds. Tough. It's not about him and his sensitivities. Or you either, for that matter.

Who was the Muslim fella who posted early on. Before Spurlock arrived?

He got it.
