The people I like are the ones whom I have no idea of what God ,Idol, Prophet they worship , I'm sure that must mean something ?
What I don't understand but if all religion and their followers believe in an after life then why make this short 70 odd years we have on earth such as balls ache .

There is no such thing as an 'after life' with some abstract soul or spirit floating off to heaven, this a complete falsehood perpetrated by the Catholic Church and the rest of Christendom, it is not a teaching of the Bible, and as for Islam and death their teaching is also a lie, as the "dead are conscious of nothing, they are simply in the memory of the creator, Paradise (On Earth) doesn't exist at this point in time. Muslims (followers of Islam) believe that on a day decided by Allah, and known only to Allah, life on earth will come to an end and Allah will destroy everything. On this day all the people who have ever lived will be raised from the dead and will face judgement by Allah. Muslims believe that they will remain in their graves until this day. This day is called by several names by Muslims, but the creator is never going to destroy this planet earth, and neither is he going to allow man to destroy this beautiful planet. Where Muslims will be resurrected to, after this Earth is destroyed by Allah only they can fantasise over, the Creator, Allah, God, Yahweh etc has given a guarantee that the Earth shall remain forever, so those that believe in anything else are fanaticising

It's interesting to note that the Muslim concept of an after life is (Jannah) to say the least confusing but it has it's roots in the original 'Garden of Eden' where the concept of Paradise comes from, so Muslims believe they need to aspire to the highest point of this after life which to them would be the Garden of 'Eden' but that was a literal place on planet earth, where this after life garden would be is any ones guess, sounds so similar to Christendom's false teaching of floating off to heaven somewhere, anyway so much deception in all this, and so many sheep deceived by 'The Virgin Mary', and Muhammad .......<ok>

PS: Christendom and Islam also share the false teaching of 'Hell fire', where the wicked will forever be tormented, for their bad deeds, this teaching only exists outside of the Bible, it's another deception to control the sheep.

It's funny how your posts always look like cut n' paste jobs, Phil <whistle> You're just advocating replacing one (or more) religions with another. Doesn't wash with me as you know but keep smoking whatever you're on. <ok>

All mumbo jumbo no matter how you dress it up. I follow a creed of being kind to my fellow human beings , respecting and loving my family and try to reduce my faults to a bare minimum . It's stood me in good stead and I'm proud to say that my kids have grown up and had kids of their own without the need of religion , which pretty much sums up the majority of the civilised world .

You think we sit in our homes wishing death on everyone? Hating our own country? Putting our own kids at risk? I tell you what we have said on many occasions though.....white British people are racist in a lot of subtle ways, not all but it's shocking how many. When my wife's white friends found out that she was marrying me..most of them stopped talking to her..why? It's not because I'm brown...it's because I'm a Muslim...****ing fact<ok>

It's been a good social experiment this has <ok>

Oh poor you. 150 innocent people murdered by Islamic nutcases and yet it's all about you. Listen, we get you're not one of the 300 million radical Muslims hell-bent on killing people, you don't have to keep repeating yourself. Your wife's friends probably stopped talking to her because she married a bit of an idiot.

I'm not advocating anything, just stating some facts, in answer to Matt, but clearly i'm casting pearls before swine...........<laugh>

...and today politician after politician was lining up to say they don't want to bomb Raqqa. Gutless twats. It won't stop the terrorists but a massive military defeat is needed. Right now. You have to show these people that if they **** with us there will be a price to pay.

Interesting although not surprising

Despite President Obama’s sanctimonious proclamation Monday that America does not have a religious test when it comes to admitting refugees into America, the actual math appears to show the complete opposite is true. According to CNSNews.com, who looked at the data, only 53 Syrian Christian refugees have been allowed into America, compared to 2,098 Syrian Muslims.

While everyone of every faith is suffering in a Syrian civil war that has been further complicated by the successful creation of an Islamic State throughout much of the country, there is no questions that Syrian Christians have been singled out for the worst kind of persecution under ISIS, including mass beheadings that do not discriminate against innocent women and even small children.

Nevertheless, despite this widely publicized bloodbath, since 2011, only 53 Christians have been offered refuge in the United States. It should come as no surprise that the problem here is the United Nations and our own government’s willingness to allow that corrupt organization to control the American refugee application process.

CNSNews:

Critics say this is because the federal government relies on the United Nations in the refugee application process – and since Syrian Christians are often afraid to register with the U.N., they and other non-Muslims in invariably left out.

Fleeing persecution at the hands of Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) and other jihadist groups, Syrian Christians generally avoid U.N. refugee camps because they are targeted there too.

Most refugees considered for resettlement in the U.S. are referred by the U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).

During his snippy news conference Monday, President Obama raged — not against the terrorists who murdered more than a hundred innocents in Paris, but against his American critics, specifically Republicans, who are uncomfortable with the idea of resettling tens of thousands of Syrian refugees here in America.

The F.B.I. has already admitted that it cannot adequately vet these refugees, and ISIS has promised to use the Syrian refugee process as a means to infiltrate the West with terrorists. Early reports indicate that two, or maybe three, of the gunmen that hit Paris Friday snuck in through the refugee program.

About those Republicans who suggested we bring in Syrian refugees who are Christians, the President raged “We don’t have religious tests to our compassion We do not close our hearts to these victims of such violence and somehow start equating the issue of refugees with the issue of terrorism.”

According to the actual numbers, though, the president is lying. We do have a religious test, and for plausible deniability, one that is administered by the United Nations. And as a result, those refugees being discriminated are both Christians and those who are the most victimized and persecuted in Syria.

Who’s the bigot now, Mr. President?

In a mother’s womb were two babies. One asked the other:
“Do you believe in life after delivery?” The other replied, “Why, of course. There has to be something after delivery. Maybe we are here to prepare ourselves for what we will be later.”
“Nonsense” said the first. “There is no life after delivery. What kind of life would that be?”
The second said, “I don’t know, but there will be more light than here. Maybe we will walk with our legs and eat from our mouths. Maybe we will have other senses that we can’t understand now.”
The first replied, “That is absurd. Walking is impossible. And eating with our mouths? Ridiculous! The umbilical cord supplies nutrition and everything we need. But the umbilical cord is so short. Life after delivery is to be logically excluded.”
The second insisted, “Well I think there is something and maybe it’s different than it is here. Maybe we won’t need this physical cord anymore.”
The first replied, “Nonsense. And moreover if there is life, then why has no one has ever come back from there? Delivery is the end of life, and in the after-delivery there is nothing but darkness and silence and oblivion. It takes us nowhere.”
“Well, I don’t know,” said the second, “but certainly we will meet Mother and she will take care of us.”
The first replied “Mother? You actually believe in Mother? That’s laughable. If Mother exists then where is She now?”
The second said, “She is all around us. We are surrounded by her. We are of Her. It is in Her that we live. Without Her this world would not and could not exist.”
Said the first: “Well I don’t see Her, so it is only logical that She doesn’t exist.”
To which the second replied, “Sometimes, when you’re in silence and you focus and you really listen, you can perceive Her presence, and you can hear Her loving voice, calling down from above.”

I'm not religious at all (you might have guessed lol) but the persecution that the Christians in Syria have suffered is awful. In some countries where there are camps many have had to leave and take refuge in churches because they suffer violence at the hands of 'innocent refugees fleeing war'. If the criteria is how vulnerable a person is they should be at the front of the queue.

I don't think that it's a prerequsit that you have to have a faith to recognise the suffering of others ,just common decency should do .I still can't get my head around how fit and able "family" men leave their families in a war zone then travel thousands ( not a few or even a hundred ) miles alone to safety .Do they intend to form an army in exile to go back to free their country ,?
no I thought not

She's finished politically, Phil. Already plummeting in the polls.

I would think so, most Germans would rightly be concerned regarding this awful decision by her, she's clearly lost the plot, trouble is this will without doubt spill over from the German boarders to the rest of Europe, including us unfortunately, absolute insanity if you ask me...........<ok>
