He has a point though Dev - the fact that people are talking about it would indicate that they achieved their aim.

<laugh> I think they're absolute morons but there really are people out there who do think that as long as they are in the public eye they have won. We're in the 12 series of X factor FFS!

<laugh> As I said, *****loids Dan.

The Celtic fans who booed are on a par with the shameless Bosnian ****s, they won't see it though, I'll bet the Green Brigade forum is replete with these tards criticising the Bosnians for disrespecting the dead.

No they are not on a par. Neither should happen but there's a difference between dead innocent revellers and dead armed men.

Stretcher bearers and Medics for starters, lots of them died in the wars, not allowed to carry weapons. Are they allowed a minute's silence or should they be booed too because they were in uniform?

Please stop trying to link those poor innocent souls who died in Paris with armed and trained killers.

    Thanks.

So we've switched from "dead armed men" to "trained killers"? <laugh>

What the dullards at Ross County were actually protesting about was not "Trained Killers or "dead armed men", they specifically protested against a relatively small number of men who died in Northern Ireland whilst in uniform, men who they assume did something wrong by just being in uniform and serving in NI.

That's who their protest was aimed at, they certainly weren't protesting against anyone who is still alive.

"The match-day announcer had pleaded for quiet beforehand and explained that the silence was to remember not only British and Commonwealth forces but innocent victims and the dead on all sides in conflicts."

So what were they protesting about again?

Do German Iraqi and Argentine veterans get a flight over for these services? Maybe a few Japanese?

Does the money raised go to any of the above or any victims of our actions in conflicts?

If not I'd have to say the remembrance silence has little to do with remembering anyone other than allied casualties

Pretending it's for everyone is a bit insulting

If you won't be silent then move on until it's over

Bring back the minute's applause to commemorate tragic events. Or, mibby a minute's frisby throwing, then the kids can get involved.
