A tragedy has turned into a petty squabble between dick heads scoring points off each other! As per!

The tragedy stands and this thread was created to discuss it, not for condolences, it was dynamic and at pace with changing scenarios.

North Terminal at Gatwick evacuated, man with granade in his bag, French police chasing down ' heavily armed' men.
I don't think this has fully ended yet.

You lads need to stop this now. Let's face it, all your doing is trying to prove who's cleverest.

For intellectually gifted men like yourselves, surely you can do better than flagging up grammatical errors for instance?

Then again, I found out that intellect doesn’t necessarily mean sense a long time ago.

No offence meant to anyone here, but your way out of order here lads.

The thing that concerns me the most is that we will blatently overreact to this. We will scan every Muslim person just in case they're a terror suspect and they'll feel their human rights have been violated. Then IS will pop up and say 'look, they do hate you, they don't trust you and they don't want you in their society, join us instead'.

It isn't just the murders that are worrying, it's what has started because of them. It's only going to get worse.

Indeed from HDM story ..
One Kurdish businessman in Spring Bank, west Hull, who asked not to be named, said Krekar does not represent the views of Kurds.

He said: "Everyone knows who Mullah Krekar is, but we don't support his views.

"I can't speak for all Kurdish people, but we have always resisted against terrorism and have even fought it.
Groups like Isis are our enemies just like everyone else."

For my own part I have answered posts that I have agreed with or thought wrong and there have been a few of those - beyond that I have responded to specific posts and tried to answer them without point scoring, although that is difficult. this is a discussion forum, or so I thought. I have tried very hard not to be either political, religious or disrespectful in any way. So what is the problem?

This thread was never a condolence thread, the first hint of condolence was 52 posts in on page 3 and even now some who have complained continue to move the discussion forward which is laughable. Just discuss the pros and cons of this crazy situation or don't read it, it really is that easy.

If you want to offer condolences, either open a dedicated thread or use the one that our board convention reserves - just as was done much earlier:

RIP to all those people that lost there lives in Paris last night ... My heart goes out to all those affected by this utter atrocity. All those injured may you make a quick and full recovery.

I am the one who created this thread, and I created it as a dedicated thread where people can give condolences and inform of what happened, not a place to pointlessly argue. So please, stop.
