Typical England game so far. Got nothing, can't hold the ball, can't impose any pressure. I was really happy we picked these really big nations to test ourselves. To then select a 2nd or 3rd 11....What the hell is the point?! Our subs and players that will miss out on the squad are getting experience of being outplayed by a proper team. What is our actual England team learning from this?! As much as us, watching it on the telly. Sums up why we never ever improve or challenge.

Lallana has carried on his indifferent form, Redmond would have been more exciting. Jones, surprisingly looks alright, but again, he has not earned his start, might as well put Ryan Bennett in!

Redmond pulled out of the under 21 England team, but agree if Delph can get a call up then Redmond should be given the chance. But seem if you don't play for a fashionable club then you won't get that chance. If say Redmond goes to Liverpool then he would definitely get a call up.

I said that nearly word for word to my gf before kick off.Using the fact Redmond was linked with Liverpool. If he only played one cup match, but Liverpool bought him for like 6-8M. He probably would have started tonight. Whereas he's starting, scoring and assisting for Norwich. I doubt Hodgson knows who he is!

I also used the fact if Chelsea bought Ruddy, and he played U21 most of the season then 1 or 2 cup games. He would be in this squad too.

I've never been a Hodgson fan, the fact he's still the England manager annoys me, should have been fired after the last tournament, that was a disaster.

I know we haven't lost a game in the qualifying, but my god they've been boring to watch.

You are reading my mind mate. I've just been boring the GF. We walked a group we should have walked, so now he's untouchable. this game is more proof, we can only play against **** teams, when there is no pressure or expectation. tonight we look so bloody awful. this is exactly how we play every world cup and Euro. Nothing ever changes.

Yeah we walk the groups because they're easy, but as soon as we get into the tournament we struggle playing the better teams. This England team doesn't excite me either, this doesn't look like a team for the future to me, it feels more mismatched with no room to progress or grow. Imo anyway.

First time I slightly disagree. Kane, Sterling, (as long as he knuckles down and Klopp gets on to him) Lallana. That's exciting. Vardy is young, and he's out of this world at the moment. Can he keep that up?! no idea....doubt it, but still, hes potential. I love Shaw, Clyne, Walker is great going forward, **** in defense bit with the right manager making him improve? Butland is amazing this season.Smalling finally looks decent! Barkley is getting a run in the position he is suited to for his club, and now getting international experience. I disagree with loads of Roys resonant decisions, but I don't agree we have no exciting future.

I agree those players are exciting but we've got the wrong manager to bring out the best of them. No matter how out of form Rooney is, Roy will always start him over Vardy in competitive games. What I meant with mismatched which was probably the wrong word, is we're all over the place, can't make simple passes and just seem disjointed. Under Roy's management we won't grow or improve.

I couldn't bring myself to watch it, I did just see the goals though and that first goal would almost have made it worth watching the game. That was utterly sublime!

    Bah!

You will have to get over it. When you hear that there are more Israeli and Belarus players playing in the Champions league than English ones you now that we will never win the World cup again, possibly ever!

Just sen Jacob Murphy stared and scored 2 goals in Coventy's 3-0 win. He's really impressing again there.
