So Luzon has come out and with some very, very thinly veiled swipes at RD - mentioning squad size and RD himself being fully aware of the issues.
http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/championship/6709819/Biggest-Luzer.html Nothing mind blowing - but I didn't expect Luzon to fully turn on RD. he also mentions he hopes to continue in England.
Is the network designed to protect himself? Keeps people on the payroll with the sole purpose they don't divulge the full story? Though, a non disclosure agreement is probably cheaper. I think I've answered my own question
Who cares what Luzon says he was happy to be a puppet of the regime now he's been dumped and he's moaning nothing against him may be a lovely bloke but he was a willing pawn in the game as were Rigga Peeters before him. Now we have the King network son in charge and even if we get another manager evenanEnglish one he will be another sad sap under this regime system.
At least Carol Fry will have an assistant- Wim de Corte, surprise surprise, a Belgian in case you haven't heard of him. Inspiring or what.
The Henderson quote at the end about 'looking forward to the future as things can't get any worse' is sort of frightening.
Could this appointment be Roland's last throw of the dice? If thr Karel &Wim show doesn't work then he will surely realise that his plan (whatever it is) is failing. This will leave him with the choice of trying to achieve success by more conventional methods (ie British manager & proper scouting) or baling out altogether. The silence from the CEO signifies a change of some sort, and we should find out what that change is before too long.
Here's a good piece from the SLP and Paul Mortimer: http://www.southlondonpress.co.uk/article.cfm?id=4246&headline=Charlton favourite
I wouldn't read anything much into the silence of the CEO. Shakin Stevens has been told to concentrate on working with the team this week, rather than have his strings attached for a KM Press Conference.
Silence also from Karel & Wim. No press conference. No saying how much they lurve Charlton it's a dream come true etc etc.
Credit where it's due - good to see Cawley do an editorial piece on what's going on: http://www.southlondonpress.co.uk/a...d for the job§ionIs=sport&searchyear=2015
Excellent option to take over when Fraeye is sacked around Christmas. Good to see this sort of thinking ahead.
