Aye, hope they enjoy another season of mid-table trophyless obscurity with no continental participation.

Best league in the world my hole, just a load of chumps with too much money. <rofl>

Actually, there were in the EL qualifiers this year but they got pumped out by a team whose name no one can pronounce.

Aye but all the English teams will tell you they don't care about the Europa League...

Stuck in their ****ey wee EPL bubble pretending to each other that it's the height of fitba excitement. <laugh>

Aye, they are desperate to get a European place by finishing high up the table, and when they get it, and are then knocked out, they tell everyone they want to concentrate on the League this season anyway, so they can guarantee a European spot next season.

It's a vicious circle.

SPL'S the best league in the world, we all know that.

If you could tear yourself away from the free pass to continental participation, then join the football league?

Championship level probably, but seasons of mid table trophlyess obscurity awaits.

Ask the once mighty Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Under orders not to win it, no room left in cupboard because of all those Hampshire Cups......

St Mary's Stadium in Southampton, England, has been the home stadium of Premier League club, Southampton F.C. since 2001. The stadium has a capacity of 32,505 and is currently the largest football stadium in the South of England.

<laugh><ok>

I believe a January clear out is in order, but didn't want to start a thread so i put my definitive list in here

joe hansen
boyata
ambrose
bitton
commons
stokes
lustig
blackett
ciftci
izzy
derk
mcgreggor

you may get some cash for joe hansen, lustig and bitton. doubt you would get a sheckle for the rest of them

time for ronnie to do as promised and bring the kids through. I accept we would have to beg steal or borrow some experience at centre half

we will win the league at a canter so we should be planning now for next season

Johansen's a good player who's just hit a bit of bad form. Getting rid of him would be crazy. Why the **** would you want to get rid of Bitton?

Ciftci's hardly had a chance. Commons has a two year deal keeping him at the club until 2017 so he wont be going anywhere.

Shame about Lusitg. He's become injury prone. On his day he's the best defender at Celtic (which isn't saying much, I grant you.)

Johansen has mentally gone. He doesn't want to be there. We have a million attacking midfielders. Sell bitton as he has a bit of value same with lustig.

Ciftci doesn't need more of a chance. Rank ****ing rotten.

But why sell players just because they have a bit of value?

In my opinion this team is done and we need to strip it back and start again.

We will need new players for this and given that petey won't splash any cash we have no option but to sell to re build.

Also need to let deila pick the players that are brought in rather than john park
