Even with 10 men we still managed to make chances and restrict them from creating much (thought a draw was still very much possible at that point) then Dean to sent off Santi killed off the game
Definitely, I mean when you consider how unsettling it must be to hear him moan about everything from the ref to the way the wind is blowing every game. Then they way he's tried using different players as scapegoats at the start of the season - dropping Terry the 'Undroppable', slagging off Matic and Cahill and even with azpilicueta, loftus-cheek and others (except for Costa and Fab), it doesn't really inspire loyalty or togetherness...
Mourinho might be one of the best managers out there when he is winning, but he is absolutely clueless at how to get a team out of a hole.
I mean clearly this form (which is relegation form currently) isn't going to last, and they'll be better for the remaining two thirds of the season. But considering the cost and talent in that side (only a deluded person could call them a 'little horse' side in the league!) But it is bloody hilarious to enjoy at the minute, especially after his comments about Wenger and other managers. Though it also seems to underline that theory that because his management still it based on tension and controversy, that he can only keep that level of tension producing positive results for so long before it all comes crashing down - usually the third season mark!
I'm not so sure. There will be two or three teams that will drop off and give the Chavs a chance to climb the table, but honestly I can't see Maureen getting them out of this rut. Mid table finish at best for Chelsea, if Jose even lasts until the end of the season that is.
As of now they can forget about Top 4. Europa places should be their goal this season but if the rut continues they could even find those out of their reach. 7 losses already and there's no way they won't acquire more this season. Their next 2 games are vs. Spurs and Leicester. Can't see them picking 2 wins and they still have to play United before the halfway point of the season.
Neymar's goal from the weekend. Unreal goal from a player having a pretty amazing season. Anyone remember the time when people used to say that the likes of Hazard and Bale were better talents than Neymar?
Yeah it's a good goal but I still think it's incredible that some people think Neymar is better than bendtner...
Patrick Vieira has been appointed as boss at New York City .. step towards one day being Arsenal boss ? http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/34768961
Mikel Arteta, ever since he joined us he has shown that he has excellent leadership skills off the pitch and there is already talk of him joining the coaching staff, Wenger's contract ends in 2017 and there is even reports about him extending his contract again, so that gives Arteta a few good years to learn alongside Wenger. Plus a guy like Arteta with his background and being taught football at La Masia just like Pep and Luis Enrique has all the fundamentals to become a very good manager.
