Rules Update

Just been pointed out to me by a very observant and honest player that there is a loophole in the rules.

I said you cannot reveal your role or you die of scarlet fever. I didn't say you couldn't claim every other role bar your own - or deny having every other role bar your own.
Obviously there will be an element of claiming false roles - but you can't do it to an extent to bend the rules or you will get scarlet fever for that too.

I understood it to mean that you can't claim any of the roles except one of the 3 you said were claimable.

So essentially:
A) If you claim to be Sheriff, SK or Cat Burglar you're fine (whether it's true or not is immaterial).
B) If you claim to be any other role you die of scarlet fever (whether it's true or not is immaterial).

Simples <ok>

So you can only deny having a role if its not your role you are accused of having?
So if I accuse someone of having role and I am right, they have to own up? :bandit:
 
Right, I've caught up. Problem is, it's taken me an hour and I only get thirty minutes for lunch :(


PS...when the most active poster on the site (by some distance, nearly double second) is moaning about having to read **** loads, you know its bad <laugh>

I think its more about people not denying every other role. Anyone claiming to have any other role than the ones you mentioned will prove to be lying when they aren't killed off - so if they claimed them all bar one it would give away their real role.
