This is where you're going wrong Casters old bean, life is too short to waste on ****e that winds you up.

Instead of getting yourself worked up over this Golum character spend time doing something you enjoy.

Make a brew, sit in a quiet room and read a good book. It's better for you.

    Here endeth the lesson.

    Amen.

Talking of sage, reminds me of Media Balls in last month's Privste Eye. Forget what the show was but it went like this-
Quizmaster "Which of these herbs also means wise, basil, sage or thyme?".

Contestant " Well I am going to goout on a limb here. There used to be a clever fox on TV called Basil Brush so I am going to go for basil".

Me too, I haven't tuned in for a couple of seasons now.
Heard a trailer for it this week. James Hogarth asking when was the last time Hull City were top of any league, then quickly remembering we briefly topped the Premier League. His 'FC fan' guest, quickly quipped in and said 'yeah for two minutes then got beat 5-0 at home by little Wigan'
Trailers all week on RH of Lloyds memories over the last 10 years, predictably a FC game, last week his memory was Ferriby winning the FA vase, Burnsie's overriding memory is Luke Campbell on the balcony at City Hall.
You could not make it up.

The RL like actually said we had gone to the top briefly by beating a little club like Wigan when us being top was mentioned. Then Hoggarth remembered it wasn't by beating them. In fact we lost 5-0'at home to Wigan at the end of August and went briefly to the top of the league before the evening kick off that day when we ended up joint top by beating West Brom 3-0 away at the end of November.
Just been watching Alan Partridge. He is the consummate professional in comparison to that lot.

I don't know why but I always get a sense that you don't like rugby league, although it's usually subtley hidden in your posts you can always see it if you delve deep enough.

You're not going to recommend him to the chairman as a back up keeper are you?
