That's a good age 80, happy birthday to him. I think his achievements as a rider are unlikely to ever be matched especially in the Derby.

Best horse he rode was obviously Shergar, even though he only got on him once - in the Irish Derby :biggrin:
 
Best horse Lester ever rode was Silk II who won the Midland Spring Handicap at Wolverhampton on May 13, 1968. Not many people know this. <whistle> :emoticon-0138-think
