I like how they are giving the young English players a fair go, and they look exciting with them. Those players looks confident and comfortable on the ball too, which is really nice to see.
So, with England friendlies looming soon vs Spain and France, does anyone else think it's high time LCFC's Jamie Vardy was given a call up - and I don't mean to sit on the frickin' bench and merely "be around" the squad.
Absolutely! We all know Rooney's pluses and minuses leading the line and that he really doesn't tend to turn up to major tournaments. Time for a new plan A in my book, or at least if persisting with Rooney a plan B. It's not like Rooney is pulling up daffodils leave alone trees at the moment. Bah!
Vardy has to start. I'd like to see him start up front, with Kane. Maybe Staggered with Kane spearheading, Vardy overlapping and to running to join him lead the line. Would like to see Barkley start too.

Sadly we've got a very boring England manager and it shows in our play, Roy won't drop Rooney or play Vardy and Kane upfront together, that would be too exciting. Give Butland some international experience too, now is the time.
Ahh!!! Yes! I knew there was another young player I wanted to write in my list. Butland is the one. He's been incredible this season.
It's funny that Butland has been universally written off on here in the past, and I include myslef in that, but I have to agree this season he's been nothihg short of incredible. Perhaps there was something in him after all!
I think that's because he was a bit unknown and playing in the Championship, must admit I didn't see what was so special about him but he has proved me and many people wrong. His current form deserves a start for England.
Totally agree, there was a time where arguing between Butland and Rudd (or any other similar young goalkeeper) was pretty difficult bordering on impossible, but he's certainly shown what he's capable of of late.
Sterling is still flying at Man City. Seems to have settled quickly with a higher quality of players and a higher level.
Lafferty in N. Ireland squad :- http://www.edp24.co.uk/sport/norwic...rty_named_in_northern_ireland_squad_1_4297070 Remarkable, seeing as he has had totally zero first team involvement with his club side
Hahahaha!! I was about to say Chelsea have scored......It's was an own goal. Made me laugh out loud. Sums up Chelsea's season so far.
