In 1985 I took my girlfriend over to UK, travelling around on a Brit Rail pass, staying in B&B's and the trip included the Fort William to Mallaig steam locomotive leg - we also climbed part way up Ben Nevis on a very misty morning.

I recall in York this girl had the misfortune to experience a large bluebottle served up in her French Onion soup!

Now a major tourist attraction, especilly section over Glenfinnan viaduct thanks to Harry Potter!
