A win at last.
I don't know if I am being harsh, but after the game I though 'so what;!
The team have seriously under performed this season, especially when you think we went 5 or 6 games unbeaten at the beginning.
Listening to the commentators, it sounded like a dreadful game.
This is confirmed by Phil Hay on the half hour mark.
This first half-hour - from both sides - has honestly been refund material.
No word of a lie, but Cellino had the ER pitch blessed last weekend by a priest.
If it was good enough for the Don, why not?
I'm starting to warm to Evans a bit. Here are a few of his quotes :-
"It’s about Leeds United tonight and we’ve got that win. The statisticians will need to find something else to write about.”
"I was welling up as I went on the pitch at the end because I knew how much it meant to the supporters."
"Steve Evans doesn't have favourites in the dressing room. I always pick a team I believe will win a match."
Apart from the Worldie from Mowatt did we look like scoring?
That has to be a no.
Looks like Bridcutt will be joining us on loan til January.
God idea or not?
Surely we need another Striker, and a central defender???
It's interesting that we are signing another player from Sunderland. I wonder whether a deal has already been done regarding Byram going the other way in January?
