Ritchie Blackmore played lead guitar on this hit and Muse frontman, Matt Bellamy's father, George played rhythm guitar on Telstar. I recommend that you watch the excellent Telstar - The Joe Meek Story (if you haven't already), which is all about the man who produced these songs and many other hits in the early Sixties, he was a kind of British Phil Spector and just as mad!...
