In every other situation repeat offences increase, not cancel out.

The point of suspended sentence gives him a chance to behave and avoid the punishment.

But if the sentence kicks in it doesn't also absolve you of your most recent crime.

He should have a minimum 1 match ban for his comments, not suspended because he's proven he won't reform, plus his suspended match ban kicking in.

Or you think it's right the FA says he'll only get 1 ban for every 2 counts of disrepute [HASHTAG]#buyonegetonefree[/HASHTAG]

He has appealed the original guilty decision which led to the suspended ban therefore it hasn't been applied until the appeal is heard this is for a seperate charge so could end up with this being triggered as well .
though by then it may not matter as he may already be gone unfortunately
 
no ones finishing the job until ancelotti becomes available again.

i reckon chelsea will bite the bullet until the end of the season and hope they are in a good position for new manager( i reckon ancelotti cant think who else would) to take over.

A Moral Story : The King Cobra
and The Ants
Let us enjoy reading this story of The King Cobra and The Ants.

Once there lived a king cobra in a small hole. When he was small he ate little creatures. As he grew up he began to eat eggs, lizards, frogs and rabbits. And when he grew up further he started to eat even other smaller snakes. His pride grew with him.

All small animals began to fear the king cobra. This boosted up his pride. He began to think "Now I am the most powerful creature. I am the king of the forest. All animals fear me. Let me move from this small hole to a bigger place".

He searched for a place to suit his size and status.

Finally he came across a big tree. He selected the tree for his house. He saw an ant hill near the tree.

He thought "Why should there be an ugly ant hill near my royal house?" He hissed aloud "I am king Cobra, the king of the forest. I order the ants to vacate immediately". There was no reply. He got wild and struck at the ant hill.

What a surprise! In a minute thousands of ants swarmed up the king cobra biting him everywhere. The king cobra could not bear the pain. He ran away. MORAL : Pride goes before fall.

I agree, an extra penalty for the new offence should have been meted out

I keep saying it, three years of his kind of character becomes unbearable. It's like dating a moaner, there is a finite amount of moaning you can take before you "go out for a pack of cigarettes" <laugh>

While Mourinho's effect is good short term, it becomes detrimental if he stays too long, bit like taking very strong medications actually <laugh>

This isn't a patch on the Rodgers sack watch thread.

Will be interesting to see which happens first. Jose gets sacked or Rodgers gets a job....
