No I didn't. I'm not sure he will be good enough. I'm not sure he won't. All in all he most likely won't in truth because most at his level dont.
You said you're not sure he will be good enough for first team. I said I think it's a bit early to be saying that given he's only 18. All accounts he's highly rated in youth team and England youth teams and with not much competition on that DM role for Lucas he could get a few chances once returns from injury.
Maybe in yankland things are different but here, if someone isn't good enough, they won't make it. Ergo, saying you don't think he's good enough is pretty much the same as saying he won't make it. Point proven, case closed.
Lol. Saying "not Sure" about something indicates a lack of confidence or conviction on both sides of the pond. I would guess Rozzer has less than 50% chance of becoming a regular based on previous youngsters of similar age with similar ability but certainly not writing him off. My whole post was about not selling him.
My point is, it's too early to judge whether Rossiter will make the grade but by same token too early to suggest he won't.
The club is constantly evaluating the youth. New ones come and go all the time. I think that is part of the staff's job. If rumours are correct and Klopp isn't planning on renewing Roz's contract then he has judged unfavourable. Its absolutely not too early for the staff to be reviewing the players. The whole point of my thread before the semantic challenge is that good enough or not I think it's important for locals to be a part... As role models to get other local youth involved rather than bugger off to some other Merseyside club. Rossiter has shown hes at least good enough as a backup member of the squad.
